[OC] A Breakdown of Home Run Types Hit By Each Team in 2026
Hey we’re not last in home runs anymore
Last in solo hr %, first in 3 run hr%
Despite hitting 5 solo shots last night
That feels like a good thing. Means guys are getting on base
Pretty sure our team OBP ranks near the top of the league
Tied for #2 (with us!?)
Having the 3rd best record in the league with 2nd fewest home runs is pretty cool though. Small ball for the win.
Ha! My exact same thought fellow brewer fan
We suck
Should probably get rid of that big ass wall blocking ur homers
You know it’s bad when even the guardians are hitting significantly more.
Mama says that Yankees are ornery cuz they got all them dingers and no salamis
Gonna need to hear Colonel Sanders’ rebuttal
Wait til mama sees the statcast data on their no-doubters vs wall scrapers. Gonna need a whole new analogy.
Why hit home run when no home run do trick?
Do you want to know the terrifying truth, or do you want to see me sock a few dingers?!
lol I feel like that’s the philosophy of like 5 teams this year. Just small ball everything and pray for a bloop single.
Slam Francisco baby
Anything noteworthy about this chart? Because I got nothing.
The Bronx Bombers have zero grand slams, I find that noteworthy.
team is too busy hitting homers nobody can stay on base!
Can you do a regression and see if there’s any correlation between number of home runs and number of grand slams? Eyeballing it doesn’t appear to be much if any
6 teams don’t have a grand slam yet I guess
Dodgers are Solo HR merchants
We’re the true solo homer kings with that 68.6%
Ohtani has 11 HR and 9 of them are solo shots.
The Red Sox being in last place is always noteworthy
Brewers hit 5 solo hr last night and still have 5 fewer than any other team
We’re somehow not bottom 10.
Sure I could’ve seen the murekami plan working out, and Montgomery to a lesser extent, but I’ve been shocked at how much the rest of that Sox team has been mashing
It’s mostly been Vargas (15 HR). No one else on the Sox has hit more than 6.
still, the rest of the roster has hit only 10 less than all of the red sox when you remove mune, montgomery and vargas. That’s pretty nuts when you read off the names
More grand slams than 3-run HRs is wild
Ok I have dementia when did we hit a grand slam?
Dalton Rushing hit a grand slam off of Devin Williams and the Mets back on April 15.
I forgot we also played the mets
Too many games smh
Would not have guessed that the Mariners would have the most 3-R HRs (13) by two and tied for third-most 2-R HRs (26) with Atlanta, behind the Yankees (29) and Washington (27).
Nor that neither the Yankees or Phillies have had a grand slam yet (alongside Texas, Detroit,, Milwaukee, amd the Rays).
Kyle Schwarber and the Phillies solo home run numbers track.
Thank you, Yordan. Very cool!
Woah. San SlamFrancisco
