it’s awesome, I’m running Mind Over Matter and Mana remnant + Kalguuran remnant so I have a total hit pool of 1.5xMana + 1.5xWard + Life. There is also a rune that grants guard equal to 20% ward every 4 second.
You should try updated Olroth Resolve flask - it gives you guard equal to your ward at the end of flask effect. Not so consistent as guard rune, but perfect as “panic button”
If your skills spend some life, it actually works really well as a permanent guard during mapping, you can just press the flask every 10 seconds preemptively
Its an annoying bug.. I would take the node too just to get rid of chilled ground, hate that shit. But apparantly only works on chilled ground thats created by monsters and not the map mods (so i heard)
The way chilled works in this game (magtinude lower than 30% get ignored) you almost never get chilled except for chilled ground, so the node is really strong and is in a good spot too. Hope they fix the bug soon.
On the contrary I find it super funny that freeze is easier to inflict than chill in this game lol. My frostbolt with 200% more chill magnitude built-in only has 12-19% magnitude in the tooltip so it can’t even inflict chill at all
Did you test it with monster created chilled or shocked ground? GGG is sometimes sneaky like that. I remember something like being immun to ignited ground, but then you took damage from ignited oil on the ground.
That’s for taking a video of this. It’s one of the new nodes they added in the last patch and only the extra damage is working. Huge bummer cus I hate chilled ground.

It’s funny how even the new stuff they add in patches literally doesn’t work correctly. It’s a great league don’t get me wrong, but it’s incredibly bugged, and it’s kinda frustrating.
GGG: Only the bugs we fix count as bugs.

What’s the blue circle surrounding a bunch of skills in your passive tree?
Been a while so I don’t know exactly, but it’s one of several diamond effects:
Lets you assign certain passives within the circle without connecting the rest of the tree
Grants a bonus to certain nodes in range (whatever ‘conquered by xyz’ means)

It works fine for monster dropped chilled ground. It doesn’t work for map chilled ground. Are we sure this isn’t intended?

It’s immunity to chilled ground from enemies, not your map mods.
It has never worked that way. Chilled Ground is Chilled Ground
Eh it could be Slowing Ground, or Frostbite Ground, or Decrepit Ground.

And why do you think it’s not a bug?
This doesn’t really prove anything unaffected by is not the same as immune, there are mechanics which key off of both that you have the status condition and amount, for the chilled ground look at your movement speed in the char sheet, and for shock you need to actually get hit, maybe theres some sort of self hit thing you can use to check.
His move speed noticeably lessens when he steps on the chilled ground as well as getting the icon.
Maybe it wasn’t obvious in the clip but my movespeed did get noticeably lower.
