I didn’t know it was possible lol. What I think it may have contribute is that I used Jado’s untold histories (atlas master), few effectivness tablets, and I believe the map was 8mod corrupted iirc.
Edit: There is also the “Memories of Karui” atlas node for 15% chance to drop an extra lineage on Jade Isle which I forgot I was using as well, so that should be it

Overseer tablet can have a mod for around 50% rarity of items from map boss. might that be worth it?
Some people tested in 0.3 and said rarity and quantity of items do not affect lineages from anomaly maps. I don’t think it changed now, but could
So looks like effectivness mod on tablet might be better than waystone drop chance (popular beleif is that in 0.5 waystone drop chance applies to lineage but im doubtfull).

Would make sense. We were always told the gem were part of a loot table and not affected by mods so im not sure if there is thruth to it (outside of atlas / masters specific add on).

It might be a coincidence, but since I saw the video about Waystones drop chance and started putting 3x Quantity Waystones tablet + 125%+quant I got 2 Rakiatas out of 2 maps. The second map I even forgot to put Jado (used Doryani instead) and it still dropped. So now I’m a believer.
I refuse to believe it makes any difference, shit ain’t dropping at all whilst both my friends used no tablets and got it first try

To balance this perspective. I’ve run 10 Jade Isles with waystone chance tablets and have 0 drops to show for it.
How do you get 8-mod corrupted maps?
you just corrupt a 6-mod one and of the possible outcomes is to turn it into 8 mods, it can also reduce the mods, turn into t14 and t16
Oh I knew that, whoops. Is it possible to get T16 8-mod somehow?
“corrupt a 6-mod one” => t15 map with 6 mod + vaal orb => 8 mod (but the chance is limited, I do not know the exact number)
As far as I know, you can either get the +mods on a corrupt OR a +tier but you can’t get both at the same time and you can’t corrupt an already corrupted map.

How did you find so many jade isles to do? I’ve only seen 2 on my map and it takes maybe an hour of mapping to get there
boss rushing and chasing precursor towers to reveal large areas and then be lining to jade isles/sacred resorvoirs
I got it in my first jade isle I did for Jado’s questline
None of my jado quest maps dropped ANY lineage supports :(
This happened to me as well, lol. I stuck it into my build rather than selling it.

Does the map mods matter for lineage gems?
No, the boss will always drop a lineage support. It will just pick what lineage support it is. Quantity or rarity on tablets/waystones will not affect the likelihood of rakiata occurring. However Jado’s atlas master skills and the new atlas 15% passive has a chance of letting you roll for a lineage support twice.
Edit: I will eat the downvotes, this discussion has been done to death over the past year. People who max juice their jade isles have the same likelihood as people running t6 white maps.
Answer me this to those who think otherwise, if quantity and item rarity affects rakiatas/garukhans, then show me a pic where THREE garukhans/rakiatas dropped in a single fight. This would imply quantity affects the drop rates. But people only get at most TWO because of jado and the atlas tree. People werent getting TWO garukhans/rakiatas last league because jado and the atlas node didnt exist. The double drops only started happening this league.
Nah it used to be that way. I did some low level waystone and no lineage gems dropped.

I didn’t get a lineage gem from a T14 map
Anyone who has stepped foot into an anomaly map this patch knows that it changed this patch. In 0.4, you could run a 0-mod tier 6 map in an anomaly map, and you’d get a lineage support to drop - all the discussion was on whether map difficulty/tier etc impacted the RARITY of that lineage drop.
In 0.5, the lineage support just doesn’t drop, period (even a bad one) most of the time if you don’t juice it enough - it’s clearly not the same dynamic as it used to be.

But doesn’t waystone drop affect fragment drops? I haven’t played since 0.1, but it definitely did back then. So it’s not crazy to think waystone drop affect non-waystones.

I know right, the same way people think more item quant on a 100% single instance guaranteed item table will magically make it roll twice. Or make the 5% out of 100% rakiata droprate turn 10% if they have 100 IIR. Lots of conspiracy misinformation out of rakiata/garukhan over the past year.

I don’t care much about quant of waystones on tablets, I just usually go for effectiveness, but I don’t even know if that affected that double drop, it is possible that it was just the “Memories of Karui” atlas node that I mentioned in the other comment which gives 15% chance for double lineage drop

I can barely get divs to drop, do delirium maps and literally no loot drops, but people are getting 2 rakiata’s fml
Don’t focus on the mechanic that reddit has been pointing out is currently worthless. You should start seeing better loot immediately. Also people make their divs from selling things like pinnacle fragments and league drops. Raw div drops are just a bonus unless you grind temple.
Delirium is probably the lowest value mechanic out of all of them and especially not worth it if you are struggling with your build still (and honestly maybe even if you aren’t). It adds a lot of toughness to the enemies but the reward doesn’t really feel worth the slog.

Noob question. How do you get lineage supports typically? Are they area-specific or boss-specific? It says anomaly maps but I’m not really sure what’s considered an anomaly and what isn’t.
I got a crappy crossbow one from a rogue exile are they good sources?
I want to get that super expensive crit one, but I’m far from 200+ div so I want to farm it but I’m not sure how
there is generic lineage supports which can drop anywhere but there are lineages that drops only from specific bosses/areas, those are the most expensive ones. For example Rakiata’s flow only drops from Anomaly boss Manoki in The Jade Isles, Garukhan’s Resolve only drops from Anomaly boss Zahmir in Sacred Reservoir. I did different experiments, sometimes it drops from a completely trash map not even fully juiced and 1 tablet. Sometimes super juiced map does not even drop kaom madness

Actually w t f. I juice tf outta this map every time. Tried 3 tablets full of waystone drop mods, tried 3 tablet map boss quant. Every time with deli. Every time with Jado buffs. Around 15 times already. Whole screen of items dropped on death but not this gem. Give me some tips I don’t understand
Should have just played two different lotteries.
Tried 5 fully juiced jade islands out of 30+ no rakiatas yet. Got garukhan from quest map. Saw one streamer got Garuhan from second map, he tried Fubgan strat.
What % rarity would do that?

It is an anomaly. Called jade islands. You have to do maps around it to unlock. Use jado the new master with the skill chance to show an anomaly on the map when finishing a map.
