[Highlight] Down 12 with 5 minutes left in the 4th, the Spurs were looking in big trouble. In 3 straight possessions, De’Aaron Fox produces 8 points on buckets and assists to keep the game alive
Brunson hunting.
Wasn’t able to do that in game 1, but Brunson looked tired in the second half of this one.
Yeah that full court press they did in the first half had to wear him down some. Also gassed the spurs though it seems. Had Wemby made the shot they would’ve lived with it, but I do think fatigue seems to catch these guys at the worst time
Fox in clutch is unfortunately a fraud no matter what. He either does not perform and is a fraud, or he does perform in the clutch, but is actually a fraud and therefore it does not matter.
At least according to reddit
Put some respect on his name!!
Edit didn’t mean to reply to you but my message stands lol
In hindsight, the veteran Fox should’ve taken the final shot instead of having him pass to Wemby to take a midrange jumper.
Wemby had a great look. Can’t be mad he took it.
7’6 guy shooting long contested twos out of a timeout is a “great look” now
Lmao elbow jumper. Or would you rather have swipa take a jumper over Mikal bridges at the 3 point line bc that’s where he was when he passed?
Would have preferred Fox driving and lobbing to Wemby for something close to the rim.
It was an elbow jumper that was pretty open for the entire shot setup and only contested at the last moment. Fine shot to take.
Its literally the lowest percentage shot in basketball lol
Haha that’s the thing about hindsight
In retrospect yes def given the outcome. But it was a makeable shot
Fox is so good. I love him on this squad, you can fight me In the parking lot
naw if you talk to SAS fans many of them would rather blame Fox than Wemby for going down 0-2
I blame Mitch Johnson more than anyone. Also Steph Castle was fucking atrocious in the 4th with some garbage foul bait shots and turnovers.
idk which fans your referring to, but I haven’t seen anyone blame Fox for the game 2 loss
Good fight back and unfortunately a big mistake near the end of the game. Lesson learned and fight back again.
And then what happened?
