You play all competitions simultaneously like in footy, but Euro competitions are not the end of the season like in footy.

Euroleague is independent of FIBA and other orgs, so they just make schedule whatever they want without too much conversation with FIBA or individual nations’ basketball associations. Sometimes Euroleague players can’t compete for their own nations in qualifiers because Euroleague games are at the same time as national team games… frankly it’s been a mess for a long long time now

Wow. I’m 42 and I think still in pretty good shape. But I can’t even imagine trying to still play a full court game of basketball… especially at a professional level. I go for a run/walk a couple times a week and the next day I absolutely feel it in my joints and back. Even more reason I’m so impressed with what LeBron continues to do each season.

Real Madrid had some problema with their centers apparently. Tavares is injured and didn’t play in the Euroleague Final Four. His backup was also injured I believe. Usman Garuba, ex-NBA. Now they brought Yurtseven, last playing in the NBA and G-League.

Hezonja actually doing really ok, one of the better players in European bball last couple of years. Also named Spanish league MVP last week i believe.

Also, tonight is Baskonia against Joventut Badalona. For that last team, Ricky Rubio started playing again last year. He now still is in position to win the Spanish league if his team wins tonight. O
