Karl-Anthony Towns to Jalen Brunson after Game 2 victory despite a rough shooting night from Brunson: “You’re never by yourself, I’m always with you step by step.”
knicks really got the two most likeable superstar & co-star in the league
Love seeing Kat get the love. Also painful as a MN fan, because he would get every homophobic slur in the book for a statement like this here, but the narrative completely shifted in a bigger market. Sad state of the league
He still gets homophobia, though it’s quieted down for this Finals run.
Maybe, nationally I havent noticed it while hes in NY though. Maybe more locally it is still
I’ve downvoted a handful of those comments the last few days. Not a ton but they’re still there.
It’s more veiled as playful mocking like what one would do to a friend than pure homophobia. But that doesn’t change what’s behind it, the idea that having affects or anything is funny / worth pointing out.
TBF, if KAT wasn’t so vocal on the court, there would be less material. But I dislike how he feels like he has to tweak his voice when doing media. That’s so unfair.
Why does he get homophobic slurs? He’s not homosexual.
It doesn’t make any sense. And why is mn so homophobic?
I don’t think it’s a Minnesota thing. It’s everywhere. And I think he just gets flack because of his slightly feminine voice
Even if he was gay, it wouldn’t matter one bit. Dude is amazing!
He’d be celebrated just as much as he would when he’s winning.
I think it’s when he loses, that’s when the homophobia comes out.
That’s the problem created by toxic sports fandom and media bums like skip and Stephen ass smith
I’m pretty sure the guy even has a lady that he’s engaged to lol. It makes no sense but homophobes will latch onto anything to make themselves feel superior. It’s lame
iirc the lady he’s engaged to is the kind of lady that would make a certain type of sad mf jealous enough to call someone homophobic slurs on the internet, too
People think the way he talks sounds gay sometimes.
He has a similar vibe as QB Caleb. Not a dis at all. Least that’s what it seems like to me. People act like they never had a friend that was a bit more evocative with their tone and manners. I love my different friends. Everything is getting so homogenized the older I get. Used to go to different parts of the county and they felt different. Now they all have the same strip mall franchises. Look at current styles and architecture, it’s all boring af. I just am so happy to see successful people who are different.
They meant the homophobia would be louder everywhere if he was still playing in MN
He still brings out the latent homophobia in national casual fans and a certain section of our fanbase. I don’t think that’s ever going to change. To a lot of Americans, if you’re a man of color who doesn’t accurately portray certain stereotypes you’re “soft”
Is it not common knowledge that he’s Dominican? Dominicans definitely have their own vibe that is quite different from black Americans. Obviously a generalization, but wondering if it’s a factor.
Him being Dominican is 100% a factor yeah. He gets stereotyped a lot online for it.
He also has two older sister which may play a part
And as a Kentucky fan that kept up with him since he was 16 I’m super glad for him too, always bothered me the online hate he gets. Especially after all he went through during covid
It’s not the bigger market, it’s the winning, like always. If he had said this at Minnesota after going two games up in the finals, it’d just be the same sad people saying that stuff that are doing it now
Oh there is still plenty of homophobic nonsense going around when it comes to KAT …
I understand not wanting NY to ever win anything I guess.
It’s impossible for me to not like thid team right now though.
yeah same i generally dont care about the “fans of x team are unbearable” discourse. It just really just comes down to the team & their story & knowing everything kat has had to go through to get to this point, & brunson taking massive a pay cut to improve the overall roster as the #1 option & just overall being a sound dude & being 6’0-1ish leading a team is nice to see considering all the doubts the media has had abt him over the years. There’s just alot to like from this team to not want to root for them
I have seen almost every fanbase (not the Nets) get called “most obnoxious fanbase in the league.”
Turns out when you play a team in the playoffs you start to get annoyed at the opposing fans
Boston: you’re welcome for KG. NYC: you’re welcome for KAT.
But we can all agree FTP.
Sincerely,
Minnesota
Should also say “Cleveland: You’re welcome for KLove.”, he wasn’t a FMVP but he was essential for the Cavs to break that city’s championship drought.
LA: the literal name of your team
Crazy how much talent MIN has drafted over the years, even with so many different GMs.
The thing is, we’ve mostly drafted terribly until recent years lmao. Our hits really hit tho
tbh while their fanbase is really big and loud, their fans have always been there even when they’ve been bad. so it would be nice seeing them win one esp with what’s basically the power of friendship
yeah gotta respect the turnaround after the loss against hawks to go down 2-1 in what many were saying what little chance they had to win a ring was gone & that bridges trade package deal just further vindicated to everyone who was saying it was a terrible move by the knicks but since then he’s been been fucking sensational lol. & apparently the locker room vibes after that was in disarray too, the media was just dogging on them at that point
as a neutral the knicks fans (here at least) seem pretty chill, just normal sports banter. JB and KAT seem genuine. I kinda want the knicks to win this one before wemby just wins everything for the next decade lol.
Only team i don’t like is okc, both the fans and the team is cringe af.
thats how i see it too lol wemby is most likely going to dominate for a long time as long he remains relatively injury-free so for him to potentially lose one at a young age wont mean much when its all said & done, like say for instance shaq & bron who both still have 4. knicks on the other hand aren’t old but they are definitely in the win-now phase with their two best players already being 30/close to so you can kind of get this feeling of its either now or never & they’re playing like it too. & yeah i’ll always root for any team thats up against okc lol.
Ohhh I get it. Knicks fans are loud, obnoxious and loud. Those are facts. The difference is we don’t really care how other fans react to it.
Lowkey wish the Heat had similar fans as enthusiastic fans like the Knicks and Kings do. Miami is somehow a football city despite how sorry the Dolphins are and how successful the Heat have been
Knicks are like the cowboys to me. I understand why there is hatred but not winning anything and being in any significant games in nearly 30 to over 30 years now takes the edge off any hate. And with the era of parity I’m not afraid of some nascent dynasty.
I’d understand hate for teams that had dynasty years 20+ years ago and dominated the sport if the haters lived through the dynasty
What I don’t understand are the 25 year olds with hatred for a team who’s last best years were before they were even born.
It’s not like the Spurs or OKC where they’re just stacked with high lottery picks. They’re just executing at a really high level right now. Not sure how much that’s replicable anyway, if they were to win it this year
Listen I’m biased. But it’s hard to root against a team that hasn’t won in almost 50 years.
They’re really fun to watch. I hadn’t watched a ton of them til the finals but they play great team ball. Watching their offense vs the Spurs is night and day difference
KAT being called a likable superstar feels crazy considering his rep for so long. Good on him
And what exactly is his rep? Dude’s always played his heart out
A bunch of internet trolls call him g*y and other dumb shit. The sheep only follow.
Yeah, I think people were high on the Butler praise and referenced the infamous training on the wolves. To be fair he was balling dragging that heat team against Bron, but you don’t have to drag people down to bring someone up.
Jimmy butler going down as a loser is what is best for basketball imo
Say what you want about Jimmy Butler, but he’s not a loser. The way he dragged that 8-seed Heat team to the finals was legendary
Might not be a loser, but is 100% an asshole. If we win I will love knowing that both Wiggins and KAT got a ring and Jimmy didn’t.
I wonder what people would be saying about Jordan if he played 30 years later. Being a nice guy doesn’t win all the time.
Pretty much. Hate the “championship or bust” mentality that is prevalent nowadays. Same people would be calling Dirk a bum if he lost against the Heatles. Disliking Jimmy’s asshole antics is fair though
Why did you censor gay but not shit?
To pay respects for pride month
For years, even up until these playoffs, he basically had the rep of a nice guy who is talented but dumb at basketball. Even Zach Lowe was penciling him in for a bunch of dumb unnecessary fouls and brainless plays, which was warranted because KAT got that rep for a reason.
It’s really cool to see him have this redemption arc and currently be the frontrunner for Finals MVP.
I mean he’s still averaging over 4 fouls per game this playoffs to be fair. His playmaking has been really clean tho.
He has def still made some dumb mistakes, but playing Wemby and Embiid will result in a lot of fouls for any center.
He’s got the worst whistle by far. Yes he has too many dumb fouls but KAT also frequently gets called for stuff that they don’t call on others.
The 76ers series against Embiid is bringing that average up quite a bit I’m sure. But it hasn’t been a consistent problem these playoffs like it used to be. Even last night when he got into foul trouble it took a couple really bad calls to get him there.
I’m hoping after this run he’ll get a little more respect and the refs will stop giving him such a bad whistle, at least defensively.
Jimmy Butler called him soft and was butthurt Kat and Wiggins got paid max instead of him.
Funny Wiggins got a chip and now Kat might before Butler.
Lmao just look through comments of kat on this subreddit when was on mediocre wolves teams.
Got called soft because Butler threw a tantrum at a Wolves practice over not getting paid.
He also does not look like the dude who shot 24% from three in the 2024 WCF. Good for him man.
I remember KAT saying he changed the game by being a shooter big and people making fun of him
If we are thinking of the same thing he said he was the greatest big man 3 point shooter of all time. Which isn’t that crazy. There’s not that many to choose from and his stats back it up.
I’ve always liked KAT, but that is a pretty dumb comment.
They really got a bunch of guys that carry themselves like regular people that happen to be good at basketball. Only Mitch is debatable
I’m an okc fan, so I was initially just here for the hate watch, but the way these guys are coming up clutch in the finals is truly incredible. 100% rising to the occasion. I’ve always really liked Brunson, but Kat has moved wayyyyy up from where I had him before this.
starting 5 is just good dudes
I’ve believed in KAT for 10 years and this shit hits like crack. The best part is he hasn’t been doing his fake deep voice in the finals, it’s like he’s finally truly confident and comfortable with himself and its on the biggest stage.
I just wanna watch him lift the MVP trophy. And I wanna have the knowledge Jimmy Butler is somewhere knowing after all his shit talk in Minny that not only did KAT win a title before him, but won MVP.
Ignore my flair here, but Jimmy didn’t think KAT was trash, he thought exactly what everyone else did: KAT wasn’t living up to his very clear potential. Jimmy was mad at him for not giving it his all.
Jimmy’s thing has usually been being right but being a dick about it. Wasn’t any different with the KAT saga.
Anyway, I’m loving the KAT redemption and hope he wins Finals MVP.
KAT wasn’t living up to his very clear potential. Jimmy was mad at him for not giving it his all.
Part of that was age. KAT was 22-23 when Jimmy was in MIN. Every player (probably most players) aren’t Leborn or Wemby at 22 in terms of leading teams and dominating.
Being physically gifted is one thing, being mentally tough is another. When you have both of them, you get a star. Tatum took over the Celtics by the end of his rookie season because he had the mentality already. KAT finally has the star mentality to go with his ability, ironically in one of the toughest sports cities in the country.
brunson’s leadership style deserves some credit too. takes a lot of pressure off kat and encourages teammates to hold themselves accountable by example, and not by pointing fingers. ideal for kat.
I’m new to this place and NBA in general, whats Brunson’s leadership style?
Deflects criticisms away from others by using that big forehead.
This is very Simmons coded lol. Meaning no disrespect, Tatum and KAT’s stories aren’t similar at all, I feel like trying to relate this back to your team is blurring the lines a bit too much here.
Tatum went to one of the most stable franchises in sports and joined a roster that was 1. Talented and 2. Didn’t contain an older player openly talking shit about him to the media when he was 22.
KAT’s cycled through coaches through much of his career, and only really within the last 5 years began to see what a stable franchise was like. He also dealt with huge personal loss that I am absolutely confident many players who think they’re “tougher” than him would not be able to handle half as well as he did.
KAT’s story isn’t really like anyone else’s, and he could have done better at times throughout his career, but he’s also been handed the short end of the stick more than almost any other star in this league and he’s continued to perform.
Wemby at 22 in terms of leading teams
We’re seeing that narrative get dismantled before our very eyes.
You’re partially right, but I think a lot of Butler’s motivation was about not getting paid as much as Kat moreso than Kat not living up to his potential
Which really isn’t that crazy. I don’t think any of us want to work a job where we bust our ass every day (say what you will about Butler, his work ethic isn’t up for debate) while the guy who’s just coasting along gets paid more than you.
Especially in a position where if the other guy works harder like you know he can, it benefits your own hard work
Butler seems to only have issues when he believes he’s not going to get the contract he wants. As bad as it can come off to people that don’t like him because of this, I can’t say his antics don’t work.
Maybe he shouldve tried not being a dick to a 22-year-old then. Food for thought
Hilarious how many people still just miss this point and everything that’s come after it. Wiggins and (hopefully) KAT with rings because they were able to be actually good teammates. Meanwhile, Jimmy continues running around with this facade that he’s a leader even though his situations continue to just get worse and worse until he shoots himself to another team.
If he put in half as much effort into being self aware as he did running home to catch Rachel Nichols in time for their interview, he’d probably have a ring by now.
During Miami’s win over the Wolves, Butler was heard on the TV broadcast via on-court microphones telling Towns he’s “soft as baby s**t.” While much of the dialogue is muddled, Towns appeared to laugh it off, though Butler kept going. “You’re a loser, I already punked you once,” Butler said.

Jimmy’s a good player and all but there is a genre of players who are clearly bullies and divas but have been able to rationalize it by calling it the “mamba mentality” or whatever.
Luckily among the new generation of NBA stars this is far less common. It’s clearly possible to be a historical great and not be an asshole at the same time.
But fans still call lebron weak when he treats his teammates well and makes the right basketball play
Meanwhile mj and kobe being cunts is glorified and nobody talks about shaq literally shitting on his teammates belongins
And tim duncan an awesome human being is called boring
Jobs not finished
I hated the guy for a long time, I thought he was overrated af but man I was wrong. He’s a genuine dude and a baller, I’m happy he went to New York so he can show people like me that he’s the real deal.
Coming out with the apology forms like a grown-up, respect
Being in the right situation can really reveal who the player/person is. Most of us aren’t able to see that potential.
That’s what differentiates the best GMs like Jerry West, Larry Bird and they can buy low sell high.
People gotta cut players more slack
I think a solid 75% of narratives created about players by fans and talking heads are basically tea reading. Like “the timberwolves are underperforming? maybe KAT just isn’t a competitor”.
Then people watch him years later on a different team and are like “whoa, he’s actually pretty locked in, I guess I was wrong”.
But really, he probably just grew as a player like normal and maybe the original judgement was a bit hasty.
This especially applies to players who have had big moments (good or bad), because people will essentially take that one moment and just extrapolate it to anything the player does.
It’s partially the ESPN Hot Take Factory but it’s also people eating that shit up for breakfast. I can watch less than 30 min of clips about something and then all day long hear people regurgitate that.
There is no room for nuance or anything when it’s clip based 30 second garbage.
Ifl KAT was never “overrated” but his criticisms early in his career was similar to Ayton’s current criticisms. Some nights they manage to look like the best 7 foot offensive engine in the league, then some nights they just put in half-hearted efforts after being frustrated and letting their focus get away from them (admittedly KAT even during this stretch was miles better than Ayton lol)
I recall towards the end of his tenure on the wolves he looked a lot more locked in and played winning basketball and started beating the weak-mindset allegations. At this point and at this level, KAT has nothing left to prove in that regard imo. I thought dude might fizzle out and become 5 time Chinese league MVP, but I have to admit I was wrong.
KAT has never been half hearted just loose and sloppy
Refs also have it out for him, calling the ticky tacky fouls most bigs get away with. Then KAT is sent to the bench and can’t get going most the game. That’s one thing I like about this series. The refs are letting Kat play his defensive game more and more and hopefully they continue that into the next season.
fake deep voice?
People sometimes don’t talk exactly like other times and a while ago somebody did a side by side of KAT with a deeper voice vs him with a softer voice and it became a whole narrative about how he’s effeminate and putting on a fake deep voice to not sound gay or something.
KAT’s mom would be so proud
I feel the same way and I’m a Knick fan who was devastated we fell in the lottery and couldn’t get him. Good things come to those who wait
Went to HS with him, I was a junior when he was a freshman. Also worked at the school when he came back to visit for his HoF induction. He’s just a good dude and I’m happy to see him being recognized
P.s. I beat him in a game of knockout my senior year
This series and this playoff run has changed KAT’s rep by almost a complete 180 already. Dude is locked the fuck in
I’m ngl I’d be sick if I was a Minnesota sports fan.
Darnold’s reputation of a choker and ‘can never win the big game’ flips around and he wins the SB
Now KAT’s reputation is doing a 180 and he’s dominating
I’d be sick if I was Sixers fan
This made me laugh.
Bro makes such a solid point but is a Sixers fan.
To be fair he says “Minnesota fan” which means he’s thinking about all the teams of the city, which means he’s thinking about the eagles who at least are good
Yeah I was thinking that same thing
I am don’t worry. I was up and ready to quit watching NBA until Edgecombe but I got baited back in again. Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in
At least we have the Eagles.
Im a king’s fan and Im sick in general.
You don’t think they had fun never making the ECF while watching Celtics, Raptors, Bucks and now Knicks win the finals?
Trading away butler who dragged the Heat to the finals twice.
Hey just because the Sixers are stuck in purgatory hell now does not mean we need to disrespect Dr J and his 1983 title and finals mvp.
Can’t speak for the Darnold situation because idgaf about football but most Wolves fans are happy for KAT. The new apron stuff instantly fucked us, either we had to sell KAT or basically the entire rest of the team aside from KAT and Ant which would have left us non-competitive again anyway. Just how it goes.
Silver is pulling the same shit again with altering the draft rules. Need to plan it in advance or make exceptions for teams but it’s all done so hastily and fucks over teams.
Nope we love kat not our fault the media poisons your guys brains to think we were the ones calling him soft. He’s always been great he’s just in the spotlight now.
Kat is doing the same thing on the wolves. nothing changed beside his teammates. It’s all media bs
Seconding this. Minnesota basketball fans pretty universally love KAT. I think most of us are glad the rest of the league is catching up to what we’ve been knowing about him
Sick? I’m so happy for KAT, one of my all time favorite players! It’s the second apron that sucks
KAT’s one of the few players in sports who I want to see win even after they’ve left Minnesota. Gave us a lot of good basketball and had to go through absolute hell during COVID.
We always knew KAT was talented, other people just didn’t care cuz we were fucking garbage for ages.
I think it’s the same way you’d feel if Embiid went somewhere else because the team wanted to save money and he finally had a healthy playoff run and was dominating. Probably happy to see it I think.
Its sad because nobody cared to watch him in MN and are just now discovering that hes a great player and person. Nothing hes doing should surprise actual basketball fans, hes showed flashes of this whole career
Toxic Butler really bombed KAT’s rep. Now I think we all know that Butler is maybe not the best teammate or the most reliable narrator as time has passed. I have a feeling Butler resented KAT being nice to him lol.
KAT is jesus confirmed
When you saw one pair of footsteps, it was me TAKING IT DOWN THE LANE AND DUNKIN ON WEMBY!
Jk, the other step was OG yamming that shit
Only through KAT can one enter the Kingdom Of The Paint
“Pass the ball”
For real Brunson has made these games closer than they needed to be.
Lmaooo this one got me
Ball hog fr
I like when alvardo is on the floor, at least he dishes it out
They got so many shooters, literally just pass the ball lol
That KAT trade is gonna go down as the best in Knicks history if it hasn’t already.
Zach Lowe said the trade was won by Minny mere months ago.
He’s retracted that recently on his podcasts.
Nobody remembers the take-back on stupid comments.
It’s 1 or 2 with the DeBusschere trade and would need a genuine long conversation.
Very fair, you could argue im a bit recently biased 😅, what the isiah thomas era will do to a person
I still like the OG trade more
Hell don’t forget about the hart trade either. Leon was cooking.
Look at KAT. So inspirational. He has such an ethical game also.
It’s cause his whistle is dogshit. He’s got no choice but to play ethical.
Not just his whistle, the whistle against him. He gets called for offensive fouls that other bigs build their entire post game around. KAT didn’t help himself at first with a bit of an immature attitude but man he’s really grown as a person the last few years.
It still feels insane we’re going back home up 2-0
I am trying not to think so much about it tbh, I still feel on edge. Job’s not done. I am glad that the team at least seems to feel that way, even if fans are running on a high rn
For real. My Knicks PTSD keeps telling me that this is just an opportunity for a new, horrible humiliation. But this team man, I can’t help but believe in them
I’m rooting for the Knicks, and I gotta say they have a structured offense to always fall back on instead of just JB having to hero ball so I think y’all are good in a stretch of 7 games if it has to go that far. But, yeah, I do think for obvious reasons Knicks closing it sooner is preferred since Spurs seem to have an ever evolving roster with young players figuring things out in real time. Especially Wemby and Harper. I think ultimately Knicks will win with their veteranship, but at the cost of tremendous growth for Wemby who will just dominate the league after lol.
he can have the next decade, just let us get this one 😭
Bridges saying “It’s 0-0, stay desperate” was perfect. Exactly the attitude I want them to have.
The quality of play feels insane.
The Knicks really do have the power of friendship
Knicks fans in heaven right now 😆
Nah, we’re still in the battle.
Job’s not finished
What’s there to be happy about?
Not a damn thing! As a Suns fan I know exactly how Mikal would answer this one. I’m gonna be so happy for him if they cash this in tho.
He looked possessed in his MSG post-game interview, I loved it
I dig it
Come on, young Kobe padawan
as a basketball fan, I love watching good teams come together and really embrace the idea of teamwork and lean on each other.
As a Knicks fan, man it’s even sweeter when it’s your team and it’s during the playoffs lol.
Short of my team being in the finals too, Lots of Wolves fans feeling good too. So much crow to feed to people over KAT.
Never hated Kat but dudes leadership has been amazing to watch. He was cool with Ant also no wonder Ant loves him so much.
Mentally healed KAT and Brunson are unbelievably likable…it feels good! Never thought I’d be a Knicks guy, but here we are.
That city is going NUCLEAR if these dudes finish the job.
My Insta is just full of videos with people celebrating tin the streets after game 1 and 2. This city is already going crazy. It’s not going to burn down if they win the finals, but it will be a unique celebration the likes of which we’ve never seen before.
I was around herald square and walking down broadway yesterday pregame and the energy was insane. I also celebrated around the garden after the W, it was a madhouse. If the Knicks get the 4th W this whole thing is coming down
vibes are high right now
KAT deserves Finals MVP, won’t be mad if it isn’t Brunson
KAT deserves it for game 2 and Brunson deserves it for game 1. Now let’s see what happens the rest of the series
Brunson doesn’t actually deserve it for Game 1. He was really great in the fourth quarter but KAT was great the whole game and the reason they were still in it at all.
There’s 2-5 more games to be played
If a 2 time National Champion & 7 foot, first overall pick can overcome the odds that didn’t make sense in first place, anyone can achieve their goals too.
He’s gonna likely be the next first overall pick since LeBron to win finals mvp
DominaAyton could never lol
Power of friendship baby
The fanfic writers everywhere are taking notes
Modern day Shaq and Kobe if they weren’t dickheads
I think it’s closer to modern-day Hakeem and Drexler. Except Brunson’s Hakeem and Kat’s Clyde
thelma and louise is a bit more apt, with both of them being louise.
For everyone that hasn’t been following this squad closely the last two years: it’s incredible to see how everyone accepted their role. Gives me chills every time.
I credit Mike Brown. Hearing him talk, you can really sense his coaching philosophy of being together and staying connected on the court. It took time and some missteps during the season, but they have become 12 guys who respect, value, and trust each other. That’s hard to beat.
The biggest difference I’ve noticed between the two teams is the Knicks have incredible team chemistry. The spurs feel more like a bunch of really talented players not really playing together, just relying on their individual talent. Probably since they’re all first, second and third year players
I see Wemby trying to lead, but I dont think hes actually a good leader, at least not yet.
Imagine your manager coming to you and telling you some shit he learned on Vacation from some monks and then you’re getting the wild cliff notes explanation from him from what he learned in a week at Bhudist summer camp. Id not be super stoked.
Mikal, JB, and Josh have been playing together since they were what? 17⁄18? They’ve got over a decade of knowing what they’re doing on the court.
Can’t hate this team. Should we go down I’d be thankful it’s against these guys.
Love this team so much more than the Spurs.
Love both teams but the vibes with the Knicks is really heart-warming. Those guys are so chill too during post-game interviews.
Kats that dude
Hate that I’m rooting for the knicks as a bos sports fan
KAT is redefining his entire legacy in one playoff run and I’m here for it
lmao KAT is so intense i know it’s not that deep but lowkey looks like Jalen goes yeah thanks bruh…i’m gonna walk over there now
Damn Uncle KAT could help me as a life coach
KAT’s been getting called soft for years, but he’s been all-in on this team from day one. You can see it in moments like this. Dude genuinely wants everyone around him to succeed.
I don’t know how to think with NYC having a likable, rootable team
Just two jersey boys about to do the unthinkable.
Fuckers making me like them even more.
🎶 You’ll never hoop alone… 🎵
I’m good with either team winning but Knicks are due. It’s been far too long for that city to get a championship and i can’t think of a team more worthy team to win out this year.
This is an extraordinary team. Stars are having a bad game, usually means someone from the bench will play like an all-star that night, and every one else plays just a little bit better than usual, and “usual” is pretty good through the entire roster. No drama, deep and dangerous bench. Pure focus on winning and everyone across the roster is willing to do whatever is most likely to bring the team a victory. Say what you will about the caliber of the opponents they’ve faced in the playoffs, but they have beaten 13 of those playoff opponents in a row, some games decided by ridiculous margins.
pls wemby the streak cant end
I love this man 😭😭😭
KAT getting his flowers. Love to see it
KAT is everything the nba does right. What an awesome dude
But I only saw one pair of footprints in the sand? That’s when I carried you.
