The spurs/OKC series is such a good depiction of why each series matchup is different, and experience at this level is so important
Obviously OKC being defending champs does indicate Spurs would be the better team going into this Finals
But this is why experience at this level is so important
The Knicks game plan to play fast was the main reason why Wemby missed those shots late in the game
The physicality is overwhelming for the spurs (although that game was horribly officiated physicality wise)
The inexperience and lack of leadership when it’s most required isn’t their at this level for the spurs
You can blame Wemby all you like, but the amount of turnovers, lack of effort and basically giving up in that 3rd from a number of spurs players decided that game
Keldon Johnson getting one timely offensive rebound doesn’t outweigh how much of a cone he is on defense against Knicks guards, this series is a horrible matchup for him
Dylan Harper needs to be on the court down the stretch in the remaining games
KAT has to be Finals MVP
