Unrelated to Jaylen but just a funny anecdote, when I was living in Brighton and taking the commuter rail in to work waiting at Boston Landing station, fucking Gordon Hayward (who also lived in Wellesley when on the C’s) wearing shorts and a plain white tee with his phone in his hand casually gets off the inbound train at Boston Landing to go to the practice facility, as if he’s not a foot or more taller than everyone else getting off the train.
Gotta just laugh at a player making $30M/yr and taking public transit in to work.

Honestly it’s lowkey pretty convenient, Wellesley has like 3 stops on the commuter rail and especially if you’re going into Boston during rush hour it’s a lot more convenient too.
Someone would have to confirm the math, but when I used to take the train in, I think it would take like 15-20 minutes to get from Wellesley to Boston Landing - depending on whether it’s express or if there’s multiple stops. Car probably is almost twice as long.

I used to get my haircut in downtown Natick at Title Town Barbers and one day Hayward was just chilling in there getting his haircut. Tesla street parked out front. It was a few months after his leg exploded and he was still in a boot. My appointment was right after his and I wished him well on his recovery.

This is one of the best seller’s housing markets in a long time. A lot of people are getting significantly more than their listing price in the average priced homes. High end housing is usually more difficult to sell, because of the decrease in the number of potential buyers who can afford it.
Plus this is not a particularly special property. It’s super basic for $5m, even in a place like Boston.
