I had season tickets when the Mavs made the finals in 2024. I went to one game and sold the other for each round of playoffs. I went to 2 games in the first round. Selling those playoff tickets paid for the whole season.

Need advice friends. Im very fortunate enough to have spending money, and I got good seats for game 4 at MSG; I paid around 4800 for them. Now the seats are 10,000. Will they continue to increase in price? If they do, do I sell the tickets and make a large profit? Or go to the Knicks Finals game? Im a huge fan for years and have watched Lin, Melo, Ron Baker. Obviously I love the Knicks but it’d be hard walking away from 20,000 if the prices continue to increase to astronomical levels.

Just a sad reality tbh. I went to the 2014 finals for \(200 each and had decent seats. Saw multiple hall of famers and a few top 10 all time guys battling. I got tickets in the 15th row in round 1 that year for \)40 each.

I hate to sound like the old man crying about how burgers uses to be $0.10 but man the regular person is totally getting screwed out of sporting events nowadays. The actual true fans that cheer and yell have no shot to make it in the door and I just really dont like that.
