Spurs coach Mitch Johnson in March Madness: 9 points, 15 assists, game-winning dime in 2008 OT win
Dude is coaching a team in the Finals and he was still in college when LeBron was 5 years into his career
What’s crazy is that as young as he is, he’s two years older than Joe Mazzulla.
And he won a Championship 2 seasons ago
Boston really do owe Portland so much for that title
Similarly, Pop had won FOUR championships by the time Mitch was playing in college.
but pop is like 80 years old?
Phil had 9
Okay? Mitch coaches for the Spurs. Not the Lakers.
Making sure you knew who was the GOAT.
U sound stupid
Mitch Johnson was a problem.
Game winning dime to some dude named Brook Lopez, no less.
Crazy to know that he was teammate with the Lopez twins, one of which is still playing in the league
Oh wow nice fun fact, Brook is still playing thats crazy
If you are really tall & can still shoot, he’s going to have longevity. He could probably still keep going well into his 40s
It’s kind of funny that he’s coaching a team in the Finals and one of his college teammates is still playing in the league.
Thats cool he ain’t faster than Mike Brown tho

Turn the fucking jets on
As a Stanford fan, seeing us as a #3 seed is whiplash lmfao
Both teams have been so bad for so long now, it almost feels like a fever dream that in 2008, Stanford Basketball had Brook Lopez and Robin Lopez (as well as Landry Fields and Mitch Johnson), while at the same time Stanford Football had Andrew Luck and David DeCastro just starting out as freshmen.
Yeah for real. To be fair, Stanford has continued to produce some good NFL and NBA players (ex: Ayomanor drafted in the NFL last year, Raynaud drafted in the NBA last year, and both being solid players) — but yeah, both teams have been bad for a while. At least the basketball team had some nice wins vs. ranked opponents this past year, and Okorie might be a first round pick.
These dudes out here legitimately wearing pants while playing lol.
It’s so weird because in the late 90s, early 2000s the old school little shorts looked so silly to me, and the baggies looked cool. Today it’s the opposite. They look like dwarfs playing in those huge shorts. Not sure how I was convinced that was cool
Geez dude was a Senior when Lebron won his first MVP.
Wonder what his voice sounded like then
Wes Matthew’s sighting
that form is questionable lol
his assists remind me of draymonds
The face of Thanos on the body of white chocolate
