Idk Li-Ning is a really well reputed brand in hoop shoes but even more so in running shoes. I think people aren’t as turned off by Chinese brands as they were 10 years ago, especially now that all major American brands are just glorified middle men peddling Chinese products just with lower QC standards and cheaper materials than Chinese brand competitors.

These shoe endorsement deals have a lot sales target goals to reach to make the money annually. It’s not fully guaranteed. So potentially Steph could make \(40m annually if (made up number) \)2b in revenue for the shoe and apparel line.

Sales might be more like 1 million units of the premium line and a mass market line that sells another 3-4 million pairs but at lower price/royalty). Plus he also might get some equity or stock options in the deal.
