Freaking miss this JT man.
Miss him now? Like in the offseason? Because he just played..
i mean he has not gone anywhere except on vacation lol
Edit: spelling
I need Wemby to destroy those mfs
He will
..
Super man that night
i just miss the c’s in general
miss jrue and porzingis and al too
And Big Al.
i said him lol
Sorry. Missed that cause I always call him big Al. Good call.
JT IS KING
He didn’t go anywhere… lol
I mean…he was this exact guy when he came back this season
I was at that game. He was cooooking
Man I hope we get to see him as this scorer again. The triple double is cool and all but this man is a BUCKET
the postseason run just has way more intensity than regular season games even when hes putting up the same numbers. probably just missing that championship window feeling more than anything
He was on fire. It’s also wild to watch the score in that one slowly invert to the c’s losing.
I don’t miss this game though
Fully believe he was about to drag us back to 2-2 that game
He’s so fucking good at basketball
what does this mean, he’s still alive
Fam is still here and he will probably come back even better after an off-season not spent in deep recovery but focusing on his craft.
We lost that game
He’ll be the best version of himself the next 3-5 seasons IMO
I don’t care what anybody says, we were going to win that game.
You mean the JT like directly before he tore is ACL? Little confused on the sentiment.
Tatum is criminally overrated. Downvote all you want, but the majority of you never saw Bird, Havlicek, Cowens or Russell. Those players are legends. Tatum can carry their bags, but he’s not one of them.
Ok boomer
Trust me Bozo doesn’t speak for all of us over 60. This is just a grumpy old man that still loves the smell of DDT in the morning.
Crawl up JT’s ass as far as you want. No MVP trophies and only one ring. You can say the same about dozens of so called superstars.
Yeah, this guys is just yelling at clouds. Those guys were great, but so is Tatum. Speaking as a 50+ fan myself.
Ok pup
tatum held the title for the most playoff points out of ANYONE his age, before his achilles tear. all time- kobe, lebron, KD, all behind him. counting the time since the injury, he’s second only to lebron.
someday people like you will actually acknowledge how good tatum is. i hope that happens before he retires.
I can’t get over him throwing his arms in the air on every no call and not getting back on D while the other team gets a layup. Nor can I stomach his whining to the refs in general. I admire his talent, just wish he could maximize it.
he has excellent defensive numbers.
you’re letting internet hater narratives dictate how you enjoy basketball.
if your a Celtics fan who doesn’t like watching Tatum, what the hell do you like about watching the Celtics or the NBA at all?
You must love it when he makes a ridiculous lunge for a steal in the backcourt and whiffs, while the other team gets a layup
Love my Celts, since before you were born. Pritchard, Hugo, Walsh…there are all kinds of reasons to watch besides the superstar.
I’m 43 dude lol
being older than me isn’t a flex
So is saying “ok boomer” a flex?
It is when you act like someone who needs to be told “ok boomer”.
I saw Bird, Havlicek and Cowens (not Russell). Tatum was better than Havlicek and Cowens.. can’t compare to Russell. There’s a reason they call him Larry Legend and Tatum probably wasn’t better but NONE of this makes Tatum overrated.
Tbh you always should compare them to their contemporaries. I actually think he’s a better player than Bird, but only due to different timeframes.
Most players today would be better than him, but that’s not disparaging Bird, it’s pretty normal that through time players get better. Hondo, compared to his contemporaries, was a comparable player to Tatum. He was around the top 5 of his era, so just like him.
Hondo has eight rings. End of discussion.
End of discussion with you, absolutely.
Robert horrible has 7
NFW Tatum better that Havlicek NO FUCKING WAY
JT sold that series to NY bruh lol
The one that is great in regular season and chokes in playoffs? Just wish he had JBs mentality
This was a super efficient way to let everyone know your parents are siblings
Jaylen Brown has averaged 18.3 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 9 games in game sevens in his career. 44/25/75 (gross)
Jayson Tatum has averaged 26.7 points, 9.3 rebounds and 5.1 assists in 7 games in game sevens in his career. 48/48/80

Found Jaylen’s burner
Siri, who has the record for most points scored in a game 7?
