Chet getting a lot of hate, and he sucked but he was against Wemby. Shai was trash most of the series too

Yeah, he had a pretty rough series but he showed up big when it mattered most.

If he put up a performance like this in game 1 then there wouldn’t have been a game 7 in the first place, I bet he’s gonna be thinking a lot more about how bad he was in the earlier losses than about how good he was was in game 7

I was rooting for the Spurs, SGA had a handful of stinkers, but he was solid overall. He showed up in game 7 as well

After seeing Jokic get flamed out of R1, it’s clear to me SGA remains the #2 player in the league behind Wemby

Yeah lol. Consistently, every time he is on the mic he is not as hateable, never engages in the toxicity bait from the media, no excuses when they loss, recognizes the other teams work and what not. In fact I have to say this is something people who aren’t athletes should learn as well. This mentality of learning more from failure is something that will help anyone in area field of work.

People fail most often than not, it’s how we bounce back that really determines the magnitude of failure.

It’s just the falling and flopping. Game 7 watching Shai was an absolutely delight. I’ll still talk mad shit about the thunders collective flopping training and dirty play. Excited for some pure physical basketball for the final.

Shai is an absolutely monster on the court with some of the best shot making and balance I’ve seen in a while from a player. Watching him fall in directions where there’s no force is just disgusting and unfun to watch. Kobe woulda abused modern flopping too, but he’d never hit the deck that frequently. It’s clear that I am others aren’t alone, no one enjoys watching that style of play.

But I fucking loved his G7 and wish that’s all we saw

Everybody loves him for how he is off the court, it’s js the nonchalant aura gimmick followed by foul baiting on the court that riles people up

MJ and Kobe would try to draw contact sometimes, but they were always trying to score. They never did the shit where they were solely hunting for fouls.
