There’s never been a player like Wemby in NBA history and there probably hasn’t been an athlete like Wemby in human history. This guy has dedicated his every waking moment towards making his body strong, flexible and pliable enough to hold up in the NBA since he was like 10 years old.

None of the other tall ass players who came before him were doing things like going to China to train with monks. They also didn’t have access to modern, LeBron-style longevity training the way Wemby does.

That’s usually because of all the weight big guys put on their feet. Wemby is very slender and it’s probably a good thing if he puts on lean muscle without bulking up any even if it can get him pushed around some.
