KAT will most likely not even be guarded by Wemby for that exact reason. They’ll throw a guard or wing on him. It’ll be on KAT to be aggressive all series.
They don’t have the size to do that. Between KAT’s shooting, passing, and just how many shooters and slashers we have, they HAVE to guard him with Wemby.
Not remotely unplayable. It’s a pinky injury on a guy who never shoots the ball, dribbles much, nor shoots FTs well. If it was a lower body or back injury, I’d be very concerned.
tbf the fifth metacarpal is more accurately a hand injury. Describing it as a broken finger is purely gamesmanship by the FO. I have played with this injury and it is significantly more impactful than a broken finger, but I still think mitch can be useful despite it for the same reasons you gave
Exactly. Even if it were defined as a hand injury, Mitch’s strengths don’t revolve around anything concerned with his hands other than maybe rebounding. If he can stick with players, block shots, and dunk, then he’ll be ok. Mitch also having surgery earlier this past week apparently is a good thing and helps with pain management.
Its not a pinky injury, it’s the bone in the hand that connects to the pinky. So palm/back of hand/side of hand. Sounds like it will be important for rebounding as people hands smack together
