I know they’ve come up as a dark horse recently, but they’re still pretty damn young and IMO I’d rather keep the Milwaukee picks if the Bucks are going to trade Giannis.

All good points, but I’d still imagine his value is more than some combination of:

Herro - a (inconsistent) score-only guard with bad defense, an injury history that is starting to look very worrisome, and offers very little in terms of playmaking or rebounding.

Jovic - a PF that gives you a whopping 3.5reb a game, can’t create his own shot, mid defense at best, and below avg 3pt shot.

Ware - the only one with potential upside if you want a young-ish player, but he’s clearly not a star level player, otherwise he’d have shown much more by now. He’s looking like Nic Claxton 2.0. Possibly a decent center, but not the centerpiece of any trade much less one with a former DPOY/MVP with in your words, possibly 2-3 more years of elite production.

Wiggins - there’s a reason the saying goes “If you need 16pts, he’ll give you 18….but if you need 20pts, he’ll give you 18”. He’s a complimentary player who often looks checked out, likely on the decline.

JJJ - IMO the best non-Bam asset, but I imagine they’d want to keep him. At this point (and his age) he might just be who he is, which is someone who is good enough to get some votes for 6MOTY, but will never even be an all-star.

Powell - Just a slightly better version of Herro

Mitchell, Kasparis, Pelle, etc aren’t even worth mentioning. Filler to make the #s work at best.

Orlando could easily top any of those with just Franz or Paolo. Hell, even Wendell Carter Jr might be better seeing as competent centers are in short supply.
