I’m an atheist that has worked in all kinds of social and community work for 10 ish years. The majority of our donations and volunteers come from catholic churches and state mandated community service along with some kids in college. All of our clothing and household items is like 90% from the churches. Our food is mostly from Publix and Walmart. All I’m saying is it really made me appreciate certain peoples values and not judge people based on religion. They also sponsor some of our housing. You’ll never come across a typical redditor or terminally online person on either side of the fence in this sort of thing.
