Turns out it’s easy to have good shooting splits when your misses don’t count as a FG, but your makes do.

And that game 7 never should’ve happened. Philly had a lead in game 6, Embiid was ⁶⁄₁₀ in the second half. On pace for his fourth straight 30 point game. And then Harden went into hero-ball mode and refused to pass Embiid the ball a single time in the final four minutes, despite Joel repeatedly waving his arms calling for the ball.
Instead Harden walked the ball down the court, dribbled in place for the entire clock, and then with seconds remaining ran into a crowded paint for a layup attempt.

Even in game 7, Embiid was the Sixers leading scorer in a three point game at halftime. Then the entire Sixers offense went ³⁄₂₁ in the third, and it was over.
