When Kobe made the leap into superstardom in 2001 at the age of 22, he already had a finesse and skillset to his game that had the ENTIRE league talking about the “Next Jordan”. His career didn’t pan out that way, mostly due to his subpar leadership skills the first half of his career and then injuries during the latter, but no one ever questioned that Kobe had both the skillset and mindset to become the “Next Jordan”.
