Idk… Dolan’s fingerprints were all over the Thibs firing. Leon, Wes, and the front office initially weren’t aligned on it, but Dolan pushed for a change that eventually brought them the same page. Mike Brown hire was led by Leon Rose, but Dolan’s statement essentially framed it as a joint process between him and the front office… and that’s only for one offseason

Nah, he hired Leon (a move mostly panned at the time) and is letting him do all the work along with spending a lot of money. He’s a shitty person but he’s been a great owner the past 5 years

That seems to be par for the course with owners/CEO’s these days. The people who actually deserve the praise are usually buried a bit lower.

Dolan finally stopped making decisions and let the actual basketball people make the decisions. Dolan deserves some credit for finally doing the smart thing

The best thing he ever did was create the Vegas Sphere so that he would be distracted by that and stop meddling with the Knicks. 

That’s what he did when Glen Sather was running the Rangers and they had one of their best runs in franchise history despite no cup.

After so many years of meddling and handicapping the teams success, he finally found the right person to run the team and managed to keep his hands off. That’s exactly what I want any of my teams owners to do, and for that at least, he deserves some credit. (he’s still and idiot)

People with that amount of ego often do everything possible to avoid anything that would harm that ego. Possibly getting booed for a couple hours would definitely do that.

If he’s smart, he’d put Brunson in the same float with him to avoid this. 😄
