Last year to get into game 7 was around \(1200. I went to game 5 for \)450. It’s possible it would be cheaper for a Knicks fan to fly to OKC or San Antonio, get a hotel for 3-4 nights and go to both games 1 & 2 than to go to a single game at MSG
I’m a Pacers fan and it would have been much cheaper to fly to OKC than pay what I paid for games 4⁄6, but the Thunder geoblocked sales for people outside of the area.

It’s very compact (small) compared to other arenas so it just builds and then stays a consistent level of loud. During the playoffs they hand out these paper fan clapper things and when the entire crowd uses them together it is like overwhelmingly loud.
Last year pre-game before game 7 was so intensely loud with those clappers it felt surreal.
