Former Washington Wizards players Landry Shamet (2023-24), Dillon Jones (2025-26) and Trey Jemison III (2023-24) made the 2026 NBA Finals with the New York Knicks on Monday.

This doesn’t feel all that surprising to be honest. How many other teams could you do this for?

If they make it, looking at the Spurs, who are a relatively home grown team, you could still get about 20 other teams former players. Olynyk, Plumlee, Biyombo, Kornet, Barnes, and Waters III have all played for 4 or more teams. Plumlee alone gets you 7 other teams.

This feels like just a chance to shit on the Wizards just because they are the Wizards.
