Why does anybody think OKC actually wants to trade up that badly? More than likely they win the chip without JDub and trade him for a better player or assets. Their only need will be a center with iHart gone but they don’t need to trade up that far to get Mara. Plus, they got a center in the lottery last year that hasn’t even played.

It just doesn’t make sense to trade that many future assets away for one player when you know they’ll need to keep rotating as guys like Cason Wallace and Ajay Mitchell need their payday.

Its a month away from draft night, so anything can change, but Wagler to LAC & Acuff to SAC make sense.

The Clippers already have their small PG, Wagler is a bigger 2nder creator, he fits Garland more than any of the guards in that range.

Acuff was connected to The Kings well before the lottery, and now that they fell, it just makes sense he’s their ideal PG.

It kinda sounds like he will be. It sounds like Caleb Wilson matches Chicago’s new focus on size, length, athleticism and physicality, don’t see anyone else in the 8ish guys who bring that.

The clippers have Garland and they could trade him but atp they don’t have their own picks and it just makes sense to try and make that work. Wagler seems like a really good choice for someone that can be on/off ball next to Garland.

Nets could go Acuff, but I feel like they have so many prospects that they are developing that Flemings makes more sense. His speed and decision-making could really open up the floor for them and take pressure off the other guys.

Acuff definitely has the most star potential, but I think Flemings could work in Sacramento too. I’m not sure what Russ does, but if he stays in Sacramento I think he could really help either guy develop.

the kings feel like the worst possible fit for acuff given their personnel. his defensive deficiencies are valid, and i feel like he’d be best suited going to a team with a good back-line defense that can help cover for him and let his offensive game shine. if utah had fallen to 6 or 7 then they would have been the perfect fit for him IMO.

a sabonis, keegan, demar, lavine, acuff lineup does not inspire much confidence. maybe there’s something there with raynaud and clifford and cardwell

I actually enjoyed watching him play this past season at Arkansas. first college player i can remember dropping 40s and 50s consistently (haven’t watched much college ball). He does play like an NBA scoring guard though (all 3 levels). Whoever gets him is getting a bucket for sure. It’s hard to see his game not translating to the NBA in my opinion.
