last year likely due to their inexperience they were a very hot and cold team often seeming like they needed a loss as a motivator to play at their best. it’ll be interesting to see if they keep this perfect streak up in back to back seasons.

I’ve found Diagnauelt is a bit iffy when it comes to in game adjustments although he’s been getting a lot better as he coaches more playoff games, but he’s absolutely elite at game to game adjustments. I feel like he has a bit of Kerr coaching the warriors syndrome where his roster is good so people over look him a bit when looking at the best coaches in the league, but over the course of a series I’d definitely have him as a top 3 coach and maybe even number 1.

For sure, you could see it in game 1 of this series when he panicked with our awful start and barely played Hart. Sometimes he might overreact and fuck up a game trying new shit out or just attempting some wild shit, but by next game he’ll have a solid plan. Rarely commits the same mistake twice in a series.

Thunder just doesn’t really panic that much following a loss and makes much needed adjustments. People were saying this series was over after the first game when Wemby shot that horrific 3 from the logo in overtime. Like if that’s what they need to take a game while playing 40+ minutes with like 6 players, it’s not going to go well. It’s a battle of attrition.

Between this and last years playoffs, following a loss the Thunder are a perfect 8-0 in bounce back games. And they are +126 in these games (+15.75 differential)
