spurs might want to guard him
Spurs might not want to turn the ball over a metric crap ton also
spurs might not want their starting point guard to be hurt
ONLY SPURS HAVE INJURED PLAYERS
Why don’t players simply not get hurt? Are they stupid?
I too would like my team’s second best player to not be injured
I mean wouldn’t your team also want that? Nobody said crap about that during the spurs series. Just spurs glaze only.
It sucks Fox is hurt, but he’s very inconsistent himself.
Not even trying to be provocative here but I think they’re playing better without him
Same as how you are playing better without jdub
Yeah the game that went to double OT with wemby dropping 40⁄20 was played worse with jdub than the game tonight where wemby only dropped 21. Jdub plays phenomenal defense on ball and the team is better with him 100% issue is when he comes back its a chemistry issue cause hes played so little this year.
Yep agree with that at the moment
Nonsense
You’re blind then. Fox protects the ball much better than the other 2 guards. Way less turnovers
OKC might not want their 2nd option being injured either but here we are
Fox and Harper is a way bigger deal than Jdub alone
Ajay too
I thought he just cramped but yes if he’s actually out that would be a significant blow for OKC
He just cramped i think.
And backup point guard
You know as well as anyone the Spurs aren’t the only injured team these playoffs don’t say dumb things.
Everyone here so dishonest. He’s obviously referring specifically to the turnover issue, Which is mostly cause we had one starter who had to handle the ball the entire game. Castle is also probably our third best ball handler.
OKC had their best ball handler, second best ball handler and probably third best in either Jmac or Caso.
Jdub is OKC’s second ball handler
Huh, Thought it would be Ajay, at least these playoffs. He’s averaging more assists in less time played with a better AST/TOV ratio.
Because JDub has played 3 games this playoffs so far. Ajay is the bench leader, and secondary when JDub is out.
Yeah it is Ajay, Jdub is the second option but Ajay is the second ball handler.
Ajay is a better technical dribbler sure. But Jdub is superior handling playoff intensity and creating advantages.
Their entire gameplan revolves around shutting down SGA and forcing role players to make shots, it kinda worked in the first game.
Yeah but “kinda” was Wemby hitting a miracle shot in overtime. I kept saying people were way too overexcited about a 2OT win.
Yeah Thunder should’ve won that game although the Spurs gameplan was solid, AC is a career 36% shooter from 3, shooting 30% this season. His playoff shooting is at 40% but shooting the way he did at volume is a good gamble by the Spurs.
I won’t hear AC slander ….
But I will say he is going to shoot over his average when the 3s are as wide open as they were in these 2 games.
There’s also a difference between the looks he’s getting in 2 games vs. the body of work over a season while factoring in all of his 3s.
game 1 had one of the craziest reaction:result ratios i’ve ever seen. people were saying to bring out the brooms after a single digit 2OT win lmao
True but also it was a win on the road and then they lost the other. Now they just need to win the home games
That one stinker he put up against them on Christmas might have actually won OKC this series 😭
Lmao 🤣 I was pulling my hair out that game he would not stop him and Dort lost us that game just absolutely spamming 3s
i mean he scored against wemby. what else do you do
Having your 7-4 center matched up with a guard on the perimeter is a bad matchup, even if that center is Wemby.
Not really sure why we keep switching vic on him
One of the biggest playoff risers of any role player in NBA history.
Yupp he is phenomenal in the playoffs. Okc barely play him in the regular season so that he can have performances like this consistently
Already a riser on the Lakers and then he learned how to shoot under pressure too 😭
The Buss’ fund kids and Rob Lowe really fumbled the Caruso situation.
Ya don’t say smh
It’s insane. You watch him all regular season, and then all of a sudden, he’s a completely different player.
Bro improved by almost 20% from 3 lmao 🤣 big game merchant
Glue goat
Elmer Fudd
Statistically he’s one of the best defensive players of all time. Like he consistently, year after year, has insane advanced stats.
He may honestly be a top 5 role player of all time. They don’t win the chip last year without him.
If you look at playoff RAPM he’s the best playoff defender since at least peak Draymond 10 years ago
Who are your other 4?
Not OP but off the top of my head, Robert Horry is probably one of them
Prime Dray, maybe?
It’s not far fetched. Two rings, potentially three, and you’re absolutely correct we don’t win last year without him
MR. CHAOS
Somebody please bring the audio issues back when Reggie’s mic is on
Hey, he got upgraded to Captain Chaos by reggie today
He keeps playing like this, might become Major Chaos at the next review.
I’m shooting for Colonel Chaos or Commander Chaos
What about Professor Chaos?

Bro fuck Jeanie Buss’s cheap ass 😭
Hey, she paid Westbrook with that money
Westbrook and Horton heaves-a-two 😭
Fuck that’s a hilarious nick name
One of the best I’ve ever heard— right up there with Dubious Handle
Caillou came to play this series
Elmer Fudd is hooping
I may hate his guts but god damnit he is an ATG role player
I hate him but god damn I respect him
Dude is Mr. Hustle, every time he’s on camera he’s just leaping and hustling and just making plays. Dude has endless energy.
Is Caruso like a top 10 role player ever? Jk
Why JK? He is one of the best role players ever imo.
Might be top 1
Ha ha….unless….
Jason Tatum?
Depends on your definition of role player
I swear Caruso is a big difference maker in the playoffs. I genuinely thought he was gonna suck this year since he wasn’t pulling up in the regular season
He was arguably the biggest swing factor vs the Nuggets in 2025
It’s literally not fair OKC has him with a team already so stacked with talent
Would like to thank Josh Giddey for his sacrifice
Was last year as well
Biggest playoff riser of all time
He’s getting left open like a bad shooter but he genuinely seems to shoot better the more important the game is.
He’s such a solid vet. I didn’t believe he’d hit his shots again like last game but he made me eat my words.
I submit to you Ernie Johnson Jr
He makes sure to hit all the bricks in the regular season, that way come play off time he makes them all.
I hate him, but the guy’s got BIG ballz. A few of these are in front of Wemby, even a layup straight into Wemby’s face on which Wemby fouled him.
Spurs might need to choose another guard to leave open. Caruso might be like the 2023 Heat role players where he’s hot all series, and you can’t just let him keep making them.
everyone on okc can either hit an open shot or make a play. caruso would be considered the most inconsistent if you had to choose
Caruso been the real Thunder MVP this series. He’s been critical for us.
Couldn’t believe my ears when I heard mvp chants, I had to chuckle
Carsuo is great literally he is just a great great player who knows how to win. Like Carsuo is what Josh Hart is working to be.
Hart is one of my favorite players because of his..heart. Fr I heart that guy.
If we win again this year, I’m fine letting you guys have a turn with Caruso. It’s only fair.
Maybe idk ball bout the thunders 3 point shooting but i swear spurs kept leaving open the only dudes scoring 3
Lots of switching so someone’s going to end up open. Caruso has been on fire from 3 the first 2 games but he’s not normally very reliable. Just happens to be hitting his shots at a crazy clip right now
yeah i noticed that, its especially hard with wemby almost always being in the paint
its awesome to see all the extra passes to get to the guys who are really on fire rn
Spurs are also trying so hard to keep Wemby in the paint and its leading to the most open 3s I’ve ever seen
If they start guarding these shooters properly they will have to let shai run free which they really don’t want to do.
My bald king.
This man is the definition of a playoff riser he is a championship level player
thunder dont win without this nibba doing gods work on both ends
Wemby just camping the paint may not work. Thunder should be 2-0
I legit think his BBIQ is up there with Lebron. The way he was dissecting the zone late in the game was just surgical.
His dad was a coach I think - probably took in how to break a zone with his mother’s milk.
If the Thunder win another championship this year, Caruso’s #9 should go in the rafters next to Collison. Not even joking. He was one of the primary reasons they won last year, and if they beat the Spurs, he’s going to be a massive reason why again. Dude deserves to be immortalized.
Fakest 6 ppg player of all time 😭
People were saying all last game that he wouldn’t be able to do it again but they leave him WIDE open.
To be fair he normally bricks a lot of wide open shots. I hope he stays on fire like he has been the past 2 games but let’s not act like he’s an elite 3 point shooter normally lol
“Caruso won’t play like that next game”
The zone destroyer
Genuinely, if we get through this, he should be getting WCF MVP at this rate lmao
He needs drug test need that random drug test today
Nah that’s just playoff Caruso lol 😂
Dude suddenly becomes a 40+% shooter from 3 as soon as playoffs come
when did the Thunder get Klay Thompson
THT over him lol
He’s never played for my team but he’s done miracles on me
this guy couldn’t make a 3 in the regular season at all and now is lighting it up so far.
someone tell this guy every game is a playoff game
Happy for him
This is the lakers fault
Caruso is a winner.
I was told he wasn’t gonna play good again
Carried Lebron and AD’s legacies, now he’s carrying SGA.
[deleted]
Better than Danny, Danny wasn’t even close defensively and his “40% volume shooting” was like 6 for 7 in a blowout win and 1 for 6 when you desperately needed them
Man it really kills me watching players who were recently on the bulls kill it in the playoffs for other teams. Coby white, Dosunmu, Vucevic, Caruso
I called it during last game. He’s gonna go down as this generation’s version of Robert Horry.
He’s low-key the MVP of this series for the Thunder so far.
Every time he checks-in ice cold, he hits a dagger. Insane shotmaking by him.
Dude’s been on an absolute tear this series so far
i feel like hes gonna get a big contract
He is on a 4 year 80 million I think. I love him, he’s my guy, but I don’t think you can pay him much more because he can’t play enough minutes at this level.
Also, he will be old by the time this contract is done.
that’s def true. but i feel players who do rlly well in the playoffs often get good contracts but ur right idt he can get another big one when he’s 35. maybe a good one relative to his age tho.
Bald mamba about to get his 3rd ring
That mf that bet that he won’t win finals mvp is shaking right now
Definition of “winning player.” I don’t think shooting 60+ from 3 at fairly high volume is going to continue though. He’s going to cool off eventually.
I said he was high key the second most important player on OKC and I got down voted, I still stand by this
might fuck around and win WCF MVP
Pretty wild this would easily be Spores up 2 if AC hadn’t become the greatest shooter of his generation.
