The biggest problem for OKC right now is Chet. He needs to match Wemby and take over on defense. As well as Caruso played today, he should never have been the primary defender on Wemby. I have no clue what they were thinking, but either Chet is willing to take on that challenge or he becomes an absolute liability for the team against SAS. Afraid on offense and even more terrified on defense. That should not be acceptable for a 7’1” center on the best team in the NBA.
Caruso did everything he could today, insane game. Maybe next game SGA will pick it up… but either way, there is a massive hole in OKC’s defense. No matter how well Caruso plays, without Chet stepping up they have no real answer defensively for Wemby.
