Lost my grandma in 2021 and my mom in 2022. I was only 16-17 then. I was naive I guess; thought I’d have them forever.

Didn’t know how crazy grief could be even now. Still have days where I get angry or break down and cry.

Obviously basketball-wise it was the right move, and he’s still paid a bajillion dollars compared to normal people, but still classless. The NBA is a business at the end of the day. It’s not to quite the same degree, but you guys did the same with AD.

Once it was clear he was going to be injured all the time when it mattered, you shipped him out to Dallas for Luka.

Which was ironic in retrospect, because the reason he didn’t want to get traded to the Celtics was because him and his dad didn’t like how we supposedly blindsided IT. Which is basically what the Lakers did to him when Luka became available lol.

Sibling grief in particular is incredibly hard to deal with and probably the least understood and studied in terms of its effects.

Losing a parent while difficult is part of the natural cycle. Of course no one questions a parent losing a child is devastating

But losing a sibling, especially at a young age, is incredibly difficult to process. It’s someone that occupies such a huge part of who you are, and you assume they’ll be there forever

I lost my sister when I was 22, she was 24. 14 years ago now. It’s a really difficult journey. Hope IT finds some peace

OP doesnt get info. Youtube embedded a sharing identifier within OP’s link. They use that to build the graph of users, their connections, preferences of connections, which all get transformed into “improved” recommendations for both him and you.

It took me ages to find people talking about this and to find a work around that automatically cleans this up. There’s a lot of different url cleaners and tracker remover extensions/add-ons, but nothing really worked until I put in a script to auto remove them. There’s three different ones, “?si=”, “&pp=”, and a really long one when you click a link through the description of a video. “https://www.youtube.com/redirect?event=video_description&redir_token=”

It’s crazy how much bs websites just chuck in there urls.

One of the ALL-TIME playoff moments for me is him putting up that 50 piece the day of his sister’s (should’ve been) 23rd birthday.

Not just basketball, but sports in general do not get any better than that. Especially if you got a younger sister. Closest I ever got to crying watching sports.
