For one, yes that’s the place he can one up Jordan. If he takes the Wizards from 1st pick to the playoffs, it doesn’t clear Jordan (for me) but certainly adds to his argument. It also mimics Tom Brady going to the Bucs, a perennial door mat, and turning them into contenders.

But it would be hilarious because i just don’t see it working. LeBron+Trae+AD+ say Russ/Harden sounds really sexy on paper, but would probably fall apart in December, and I could see them limping to a 6-8 seed, but ultimately they’d be first round fodder.

LeBron going to Boston would be the most far fetched and the most chaotic.

First off: LeBron would have to be crazy pissed at the Lakers if he went to Boston, he’s never been particularly fond of Boston.

The Lakers would lose a not insignificant amount of fans to the Celtics, at least for the duration of LeBron’s time there.

/r/lakers would melt down before the first game of the season, and probably on the regular after that

LeBron Stans that have followed him his whole career, would have to cheer for a rival that has followed him his whole career, starting in Cleveland, then to Miami (sorta, Celtics sucked mostly during this period) back to Cleveland and then to LA.

The Celtics making it to the Finals w/ LeBron and winning is so far fetched that I can’t even imagine what that would look like league-wide and esp for Lakers fans. I do know that I would personally find it hilarious.
