Feels like its been a week since game 5

If Detroit doesn’t win today, it’ll be tough for them to take the series
To be honest, that fan with the poster saying put us out of our misery still applies. They barely scraped by an 8th seed Orlando team and is still struggling with a team they should be handling with ease and yet are on the brink of elimination again.
If they somehow manage to win this series they will get flamed by a red hot Knicks.
Giving some credit, beyond needing another playmaker, a lot of it is inexperience and fatigue. It’s this pistons squad first “deep” postseason run and they’re exhausted. Most young teams face it for their first real run, like OKC in 2024.
I have faith we can make some moves in the offseason and come back stronger.
That being said, I’m looking for a Game 7 ngl

I still love Duren and it’s been disheartening to see all the hate directed towards him. He’s still a super young dude. That being said, the less Duren plays = the better our chances are at winning. With Stewart or Reed on the floor, we just look a lot quicker and more mobile of a team. Reed’s offensive ability is a big plus too, only thing is he makes a lot of dumb decisions that lead to turnovers.
Something has to be going on with stewart. I havent noticed the physical limitations as some have mentioned but really have no other explanation for his lack of PT. Undersized or not, hes still been more positively impactful than Duren
Pistons proved they could fire themselves up being down in the series against orlando… but being in the cat-birds seat in game 6 and blowing it takes another level of resiliency to come back from. This one might get ugly fast…

That’s dumb. Knicks won game 6 on a Friday last year and started the Pacers series on Wednesday. But the Cavs would have to play less than two days later.
