Harden had a picture taken with a mask that had a back the blue punisher logo on it and this was not long after the George Floyd incident so he caught some heat for it. Young Thug came to his defense saying he didn’t have internet so he was unaware how that came off.
Harden later confirmed he had no idea what that punisher logo stood for.

Nah I went to school here, but the only non-NY gear I ever saw was from the kids who were from actual transplants. Fitteds were mandatory fashion, but it was always a Yankee one, and you just picked whatever color matched your outfit (or red if you really loved Limp Bizkit). No other logos were allowed, not even the Mets. At one point, even non-NYers and Europeans who had never heard of baseball were wearing Yankees hats, that’s how ever-present they were.
That said, everyone (myself included) did own one of those bright-ass mid-90s Charlotte Hornets windbreakers. I don’t think anyone has ever been able to explain why seemingly every household in America had one of those.
