Sure, but the difference in how he reacts when he gets ran into when seeing a screen and doesn’t budge, and when get gets bodied when going up for a shot, is pretty drastic. Simply put, he stays put pretty well when it suits him, and loses his balance pretty easily when it suits him.

That being said, he’s phenomenal and as far as they go, I wouldn’t put him in the “flopper” category with a lot of others.

I want you to do something for me. Go find someone, anyone, have them push you while you’re standing straight up with a shoulder width stance. Now have them push you again when you’ve jumped into the air. I think you’ll find that one results in you being able to maybe adjust your feet and keep total balance, and the other requires you to take more physical motion to gain balance.

Now imagine doing that while being 7’4 and having a center of gravity at most player’s chest height. Dude is going to come out of the air awkward from contact basically every time, and has trained himself to fall safely versus possibly risky stumbling to stay upright. This is what a lot of people see and develop view points similar to yours from.
