We used to have a moratorium on posts during playoff games so there would be only highlights and no stupid posts while the games are going on at least, I don’t know why mods don’t do that anymore

For me, Wemby is the only exciting player in the league. Everyone else is a boring AAU/Steph wannabe carbon copy. Or they are exploiting gimmicky foul rules shooting 20+ free throws per game.

Lakers and Celtics have a lotta nerve complaining about the refs and that’s all there is to it.

Its exausting atm. Attempt to talk basketball and some flairless random drops in with ref talk

The league has a serious credibility problem. People can’t enjoy the games or the players because of it. Whether there’s some conspiracy, which I don’t believe, or certain players and teams have found a way to game the rules better than others, or there’s some sort of gambling influence, there is a clear and obvious problem with the league. 

It needs to be addressed and not swept under the rug. The refs have to be held accountable. The rules need to be changed and enforced. Otherwise the product will continue to generate the kind of negative discourse we’re seeing now. 

Legitimate and credible competition is paramount to sport. Without it, we’re just watching a stage play or WWE. 

The league is as talented and skilled as it’s ever been and they’re consistently shooting themselves in the foot by not fixing the obvious problems.

Well its reflective of how ass the playoffs have become

I use to be really put off by the bad faith arguments, hyper sensationalized takes, and just straight up nephew’ing going on here but I love it now. People are having full blown emotional crash outs because Presti broke the league and they can’t rationalize it any other way. So every time we belt a team they crash out. And the more we belt them the more intense their crash outs get. And it is fucking comedy tbqh.
