That would be a massive rewrite to the nba history books. Assuming everything else plays out the same, you now have LeBron with 5 rings, two back to backs and a big bump to his GOAT case.
But that’s not even the biggest what if. If Cavs win in 2015, do they have the same hunger to come back from 3-1 the next year. Let’s assume not and GS wins in 2016; I don’t believe KD goes there.
Maybe GS adds a small new piece, re-sign Barnes but it’s mostly the same roster. Cavs stay the same. Where does KD go? If he stays you now have OKC (who would have added Al Horford) GS and SAS all contenders in the West. Or maybe KD goes to Boston and we get a LeBron KD ECF.
But without the massive superteam in GS we got, maybe Cavs go for a more win now trade (PG13) when shipping out Kyrie in 2017. Maybe LeBron stays for a couple more years after 2018 since Cavs will have a decent roster and not a bunch of scrubs. Lastly, if we don’t get the superteam in GS, do the extreme changes in the current CBA happen meaning we are still in a big 3 era. A lot of what ifs.

Honestly that’s where the problem starts. Reeves reaching in and “holding” SGA back. SGA locks his arm to show that he’s being held. Reeves twists to exaggerate the hold to try and get the call, but the timing is bad as it’s right as SGA goes forward thinking Reeves is still playing tight on him and ends up twisting his arm in a dangerous way.
This isn’t a “dirty” play. This was two guys trying to get a foul call in getting tangled up with each other and it went badly. Everybody out here is getting primed my the media to see everything as a flop or dirty and when the game involves selling calls and playing physically and refs that can’t call games perfectly, that’s all they see it as.
