I think there are players in the NBA who are on the team for practice-optimization. He’s crafty, seen everything, and has a big body. He’s also very skilled, but lost quickness to the point he can’t be on the court. I think he is there to mentor.

Kelly’s best play ever with us lol. Glad to see him have some fun, because otherwise he has been a huge disappointment all year, he will not be with us next year.
I think he’s done exactly what he was brought in to do. He’s averaging 0.6 TOs and 0.9 fouls per game on 8.6 minutes a night, while shooting 49% from the field and grabbing a couple of boards.
He’s a guy you can put out there and trust to make smart plays, hold a lead, and just generally not shit the bed when you need some rotation. That’s pretty much exactly what you want from the end of your bench.
