[Highlight] Stephon Castle somehow manages to regain control of the ball in mid-air and scores the And-1 reverse layup on Jaden McDaniels (with replays).
He also went to drink some juice to rehydrate.
4th foul on McDaniels.
Wemby, Castle, Harper is gonna be an unstoppable trio for 12 years
When we drafted Dylan he was considered a sub-par defender but dude has been great for a rook on that side. 6’6”, already grown man strong, and crazy good balance/coordination.
his blend of athleticism is so rare and so subtle, he’s not 99th percentile in any way, but he’s 90th in every way.
He’s so secure with the ball at 19 I could see him ending up with an incredibly deep bag by the time he’s done. All while being versatile defensively (he seems to actually enjoy playing defense), and he’ll generate a bunch of low risk turnovers and a few real gambles that pay off per series. It doesn’t sound like all that much but he’s actually a solid playmaker on defense, and the fact that he’s a positive across the board on defense inflates his value significantly.
Literally just Manu, Timmy and Parker again
This is why I think the current lottery reforms are braindead.
The Spurs should have never even sniffed Harper. They finished with 34 wins and had the 8th worst record in the NBA. They even made a win-now trade at the deadline but Wemby had the DVT issue that held him out. They should have been picking guys like Egor Demin or Collin Murray-Boyles or Cedric Coward.
Instead they jump up to pick #2 and get a potential future star and cement an absolutely insane core.
So the league now decides to increase the chances of that (or even more obscene examples) by expanding the lottery pool to 18 and further flattening the odds? Fucking idiotic
I think long term the salary caps even lottery changes out, because it becomes incredibly difficult to keep rosters like this together without players taking lower pay then they could get elsewhere.
I think the solution they picked against tanking is tame and not particularly well thought out, but still better than nothing. Having most of the games in the second half of the season include one team trying desperately not to win is awful for the league.
I knew the Spurs were young but they get Go-Gurts as a reward? That seems unfair.
Harper and Castle are absolutely elite driving to the basket.
Slash brothers!
Dawg.
PINEAPPLE DOG
Am I crazy or why is he allowed a lil snack break while everyone waits for him to shoot his FT
Whats wrong with hitting the juice box when you get a little tuckered out?
Players can catch their breath for a bit before asking for the ball, they just usually don’t step away.
Could have also been that he was adjusting his thumb strap
It should have been delay of game but refs are inconsistent in every aspect
Stop crying Jesus
Bro I’m not even crying it was funny
My b. It comes across as crying to me
Stephon juicing confirmed
Mi Casa, Su Casa
Dawg on Dawg Violence since Game 1
I didn’t agree with that foul at first, but McDaniels uses his leg to try and undercut Castle, excellent call.
How could Scott Foster have done this?
maybe jaylen brown has a point
