I think its the combination that’s truly impossible to stop, it’s hard to maintain pressure on shai without him initiating contact and getting to the line and then on top of that he can always create space with the push off. So, defenders are often forced to play less aggressively than they would like but this is lost in the FTs argument, even games where he doesn’t get to the line much you can see the effect it has on other defenders.
It’s hard to blame just OKC though, the league is allowing this to happen for whatever reason.

Nah. He is delusional and coping. His pushoffs are fairly unrefined. Just going with brute strength, and too often extends the forearm. He also just showed that he has no other moves to rely on. SGA actually has a ball handling bag. On so many of his shots he is getting separation without touching the defender. He can play aggressive and hunt for fouls, but he has plenty more to his game beyond that.

Brown struggles with offball defense whereas Shai is a very good help defender as a guard, while Shai isn’t great at getting around screens as a point of attack guy, whereas Brown is quite good at point of attack defense.
