Randle’s biggest issue is himself. He has self inflicting mistakes which is his biggest weakness.

Randle was bodying LeBron last year in the playoffs too

Randle KAT trade is actually the biggest win-win in modern history.

Thunder are missing JDub, not JWill. Which is funny because JWill would probably be a pretty good defender to put on Randle, since he’s a smaller big. They can have Chet/JWill to take away both Randle and Gobert/Reid.

The big matchup issue for OKC is McDaniels. If JDub is out and he continues to shoot as well as he is, they dont have a lot of long wings to put on him

Can the Wolves actually give OKC some trouble if they make the WCF? Obviously the Spurs can still win this series, but this was a rough L for them ngl.

I said this in our sub. Our one hole is size on the wing, and the Wolves just so happen to have a lot of big skilled wings in Randle, Reid, and McDaniels.

Yeah he and any big size wing are matchup nightmares for OKC and SAS. Even TSJ was out there looking comfy attacking those small guards. OKC basically lives with it tho. Their whole thing is flipping the math with turnovers (main reason why Wolves are considered vulnerable against them).

And yeah Wemby in the 4th was rough.
Dude was getting sealed like crazy. And his 3-ball was straight trolling. Bro would block a shot, get hyped, then come down and immediately launch another brick., Lowkey canceled out his own defensive impact.

Yeah it’s been discussed on the Spurs sub, Randle’s a matchup nightmare for the Spurs. Spurs have trouble guarding him even during the reg season, they just praying he bricks his shots

wemby is so weak its affecting his plays

Don’t forget on defense! Gobert is obviously the main man,  but Randle did a job when he was tasked with guarding Wemby. He doesn’t give an inch.  

Randle plays the ugliest basketball. He was a vacuum on offense tonight.

Depth also means you need to cover all parts of ball

Wolves and Spurs are very evenly matched, but the Spurs don’t have a Randle equivalent.

The more things change the more they stay the same. Traditional power forwards are now walking mismatches ever since teams went to only playing wings

I feel like Jeremy Sochan not panning out as a workable 4 for the Spurs (to the point they waived him) is really going to hamstring them in series like this.

Well, we used to have a big 4 that is a versatile defender. Sadly he can’t shoot for shit and waived.

The KAT-Randle trade has been a win win for both teams from a basketball standpoint. Both teams made the conference finals the first season after the trade and both teams look good this postseason, even with wolves injuries.

Nah okc gets rid of the Timberwolves in 4. Randall is easily stopped by okc. There’s tiers in the playoffs. Tier 1 OKC. tier 2 healthy Timberwolves, then everyone else.
