This singular play proves that although Rudy Wemby is a pretty good defender, he’s only effective in the paint. He’s not as effective as a guy like Bam Adebayo who can guard all positions 1-5.
It’s fine in the regular season, but as soon as the playoffs start, the Wolves Spurs are going to be in trouble as teams pull Rudy Wemby out to guard on the perimeter and he gets cooked again and again.
