Honestly, I’ve been so mad at the Cavs for how they’ve failed to close out quarters in this series.

But huge kudos to the raptors, they brought fight and played much better than anyone (especially seemingly the Cavs themselves) expected. The players should be damn proud, they gave their fans some great moments this series

Better team won, and for all the talk of effort vs talent, the Cavs outworked the raptors all night.

I know that caliber of person doesn’t necessarily represent the whole fan base, but the contrast between the Sabres game the other night and this display really shows the difference with one crowd of mostly good people vs terrible people in there tonight. GG Cavs, it’s been a hell of a series (for the good and the bad). Jarrett Allen took 7 games to wake up but it’s better late than never. I expected Cavs to dominate us in the paint from the beginning but it didn’t really happen, and Donovan still needs to wake up.

Raptors honestly did much better than what was expected and I highly doubt anyone had us go all the way to 7 games or even win the series. Losing two starters and an extremely cooked center is a recipe for disaster, but we got to see CMB ball out and show a ton of talent so the future is bright. Scottie demonstrated he was easily the best player in the series and hopefully we find him some more help.

We were outmatched in the end. Effort can only get you so far. We have no bigs outside of Jakob.

Scottie and CMB really elevated their play and I’m happy to have seen that.
