As a Michigan fan who follows closely, the NBA is the only thing I’m worried about regarding May and other jobs. It might so early that he is able to fend off the desire at the highest level, but I’m not sure how many times he’ll be able to say no.

Honestly, a coaching change is the only thing the team could do at this point to see if the core has any more ceiling to it. That decision was made when they traded for Bane. Mosley wasn’t improving the situation.

Because coaches who reach his level of success are wired differently. 

They are all ridiculously competitive, ambitious, and have a strong belief in themselves. If they had more of a reddit mentality of playing it safe, they wouldn’t have goten in their positions in the first place.

These coaches want to prove themselves at the very highest level. They view it as a challenge, not a risk. 

Not saying Dusty specifically will jump, but plenty of guys in his situation have and plenty will in the future.
