The Rockets also only had one player who scored above 30 points: Alperen Sengun with 33, also in G3. So the only person who broke 30 points in a game was Sengun and he did it in OT.

I just found this pretty interesting because this has got to be pretty rare in today’s game. I can’t find the stats for it, but I can’t think off the top of my head a won series with your highest individual scorer never touching 30. I expected LeBron to break 30 at some point but he never did.

Its just when the playoffs hit, the ones that were managing and faking injuries for rest actually play harder for that bonus, and the few trash teams or small market the league let in to maximize profits usually go home in the goofy play in or first round. As for this series, I feel like 18.5 FGA per game is not that much when you are primary offensive player? LeBron took just 12 more shots (111) during this series than Sengun (99), who took the most by a Rocket (granted, that is a bit skewed with Houston shooting 60 more shots this series).

For comparison, Jokić (121) and Murray(129), both shot more in their series vs TWolves, Cade (138) shot more in 6 games already played, Paolo shot more (118) and even Bane is pretty close at a 100 FGAs. Mitchell shot 126 times, Jaylen Brown shot 116 times, Maxey shot 133 times and Brunson shot 124 times.

Sidenote, SGA also averaged more in his sweep of Suns (19,5).
