For a guy his size and the history of big men getting injured, Rudy has been a iron man and he definitely has his own philosophy regarding that and takes care of his body a lot. Makes sense that Wemby is trying to ask him and absorb whatever Rudy has learned over the years.
He’s so conditioned too. Plays 40+ minutes, running back and forth, setting a screen, back to rim, setting a screen, back to rim, and then banging with Jokic 1v1 on the other end. He’s always running, plays long minutes and we don’t have to worry about whether he’ll get “tired” like you have to do with other bigs like Jokic.
Dude is jacked, available and durable. He takes incredible care of his body, it’s why I’m not too worried about him “declining” that fast.

Of course it also helps Jokic defensive expectations isnāt nearly as high as most bigs, but Iād say heās very well conditioned for a big dude despite how he looks.
