[Highlight] LeBron complaining about the game to a kid during last nights game
He probably saw a young looking white dude in a lakers jersey and confused him for a teammate lol
“Can you believe ts Dalton?”
My bad, Jake, my eyes aren’t what they used to be
Sorry, Austin. Did you lose weight?
Luka did you shave?
This comment thread made me realize that the lakers are the whitest team in the league lmao
They have some kind of magical white boy boost. Luke Kennard wasn’t playing like this in all his stints with other teams.
White boy coach gives +1 to white boys.
That explains why Ingles is a demigod.
They have had five white guys on the floor at once this season when they play Maxi Kleber at center
Snowtime Lakers
Lebron always keep a cold white boy around, love, Caruso, AR etc lol he training Jake up right now but It’s not looking good
We’re not calling it the Snowtime Lakers for months for nothing now.
It’s why we’ve been joking and bantering with the Celtics fans that the next guard we are gonna import from them is Payton Pritchard
Luke get up, you’re subbin’ in bro
“And height?”
Challenge that call JJ
LeStigmatism
LeGlaucoma
Needs that Lesik
*LeSik
“I was seeing double rims out there”
“Aim for the rim in the middle”
My eyes are 41 years old mang
This legit made me laugh out loud
lol me too. What happened to that lil dude
I honestly cannot remember what Dalton looks like and can only imagine a combination of Reaves and Laravia
Every time the announcer says his name I think, “the Lakers has a dude named Labia?”
LeLabia
Yeah and Dalton Klitoris
Well now I’m just imagining this kid
Luke Ridnour back from retirement?
“c´mon Reaves, just go !”
He is getting pretty old
LeMentia
Probably the best Le I’ve seen.
“LeThargic” got me so good the first time I saw it used. I think it was in the iconic “You just lost to the Phoenix Suns” thread back in like 2019 (or somewhere around that time)
I definitely prefer the ones where Le is actually worked into the word rather than clumsily being tacked on to the beginning of something. I mean sometimes those are funny as well simply by virtue of how ridiculous they are, but the portmanteaus make me laugh harder and more consistently.
LeBanese
Yeah sometimes it’s so ridiculously clumsy that it becomes funny again. “LeThoseTwoRightThere” had me dying.
LeCreativity
I am le tired
well have a nap…
THEN FIRE ZE MISSILES
Top 5 easily. We’ll definitely see it again.
LeMFAO
My god this is a masterpiece.
The kid is closer in age to most of his teammates than LeBron is.
LeSeniorMoment
“Duncan Robinson on my team now?”
Lmao he legit thought that was a teammate
Probably saw the hair style out of the corner of his eye and thought Luka threw on a jersey.
To be fair that kid might be closer in age to some of his teammates then he is to them 😭😂
Might? It is certain. LeBron is 20 years older than Bronny, and Bronny is 21 years old.
Bronny is closer in age to a toddler than he is to LeBron.
He’s getting old now, he’s at that age where everyone is just a young whippersnapper
“reaves I like the bleached hair man”
This is genuinely one of the funniest things I’ve read on the internet
“ I feel you man, wait for me I’ll lob it up to you every time”
and then retires before Bron.
Average nba career was what..6 years? Most guys he plays retire before him.
There’s a clip of a player on the court telling LeBron that LeBron had played against the guy’s dad. His dad!
LeBron’s out there playing against generations!
I believe he played against 26 different father son players so far in his career
That’s a crazy stat.
Does anybody know the actual metrics of the 26?
Let’s assume a perfect career from birth 0-18 years, the mandatory 1 year in college, 19 years old, that’s about a 4 year difference from LeBron having been in the league for 23 seasons.
So I wonder how many of the dads were in their primes with newborns vs how many dads were probably in the last 1-2 seasons of their career and had a 4+ year old son, and LeBron only technically played against them in his first 2 seasons.
I think people underestimate that. LeBron was 1 year off from playing against Jordan and that era of superstars playing their last seasons. I still think it’s better he didn’t play them. People would say “LeBron had to play those guys when they were 40 and past their prime and he was 18!”
Lebron said 26 father son duos, but it’s probably not that many. Someone made a post a few months ago and was up to 14, although a couple of them were “Lebron’s team played other team” but the other player didn’t play, like Scottie Pippin was injured every time his team played Cleveland in his final season. Wildly enough, the first father-son duo Lebron played against happened in 2014 with Glenn Robinson III.
He brought this when golfing with those YouTubers, said he hates stats like that because it makes him feel old as hell.
The crazy thing is, in the real world Bron is actually still pretty young lol
I’m sure a lot of us rarely stop and think about this. I know I do. We’re always so focused about how he’s still at the top of the league at his age that we forget about the fact he isn’t (likely) even halfway through his natural life.
We have literal decades left of Lebron news and TV features, unless he goes out like Kobe ofc
Insane way to end that comment 🤣
Right!??
yea it was jabari smith jr a few years back
Can wait see LeBron reminiscing with jabari smith jr jr in 2052
I get that there are some fans that don’t like LeBron, but even haters need to acknowledge and respect the fact that he takes damn good care of his body to keep playing all these years… and play aggressively. That’s unheard of
The people that heavily dislike LeBron don’t usually hate based on basketball.
On the contrary, there’s an entire city in Canada that is fully justified in hating LeBron for basketball reasons. I still carry a small (and dwindling) amount of hate based on just one single game.
Forget that the guy averaged 20 ppg at 41 and won a playoff series as the best player on his team. Any hate anyone has for him needs to be out the window.
The same player just got sent to Cancun by him in 2026.
Damn, poor guy
LeBanishment
3 years but that includes guys who barely play like 10 days and guys who wash out quick
Professional sports are difficult to get into, difficult to stay in.
Average NBA career length was 4.8 years headed into this year. Assuming he plays next year then 24 years would equal exactly 5x the average pros career length
LeBron: You know my son Bronny he is over there near end of the bench. I’m about to have my other son join the league also. You don’t know grown up shit, but you will learn when you grow older.
Kid looks like the average r/nba user
And the name of that kid?…. AR15. We don’t know that didn’t happen.
Why is this so funny to me
because the kid is so shocked he cant even react lmao
Is he holding a giant Bron face cutout??? 🤣🤣
Huge gold chain too, what a legend
Diamonds.
Don’t tell the kid but it’s actually moissanite
I mean if he’s parents can afford to have them right behind the bench on playoff tickets. It’s probably real diamonds 💎
Yeah, this kid is minted for sure
Yeah some little kid sitting courtside covered in diamonds.
I guess I’m jealous, but I don’t consider you a legend for having multimillionaire parents. That’s nice they drop thousands for their kid to flex tho
Probably $14 on temu
Prices of kids really dropping!
https://imgur.com/a/LYFaFNh
idk bro, those seats are something
Almost looks like a rosary lol. Straight up jersey with nothing under too. Kid is just stuntin
Yes lmfao
yes and his own personal security guard. Lebron most likely pointed him out and asked him to come talk.
“Woah”
Swear that’s what he said. 😂
I bet he said that 1,000 times sitting there last night 🥲
This is going to be a formative memory for that kid for the rest of his life
He’s going to have to tell the story about how Bron tried to chat him up during the NBA playoffs and he froze.
He’s def looking at someone next to the kid though
It seemed like he initially looked at someone next to the kid, then saw the kid react so he turned around again and did it to the kid
He looks around like “is LeBron talking to me???” Lmao
Well also bc its f*cking LeBron James just acknowledged you during a game, directly communications.
This is like 2 steps below when that guy won that half court money shot, and Miami Heat LeBron rushed and tackled him.
Only his wife and maybe his kids can claim LeBron has ever done that to them.
1 step below the tackle would be LeBron giving you a high five.
Kids gonna remember this for the rest of his life. A shame to peak so early
Is the kid genuine reaction haha
Because the idea that a superstar-level athlete could be this down to earth is a foreign concept haha
Kid also looks like Ralphie from A Christmas Story
Giving more of a Malibus most wanted vibe
All I can think of is the meme with Trump yelling incoherently at the kid mowing the White House lawn
That kid needs to make it to the NBA just because of this picture.
51 year old Bron during his “Wizards Years” will be waiting.
Still somehow averaging 20, 5 and 5
😂😂😂
The Michael Jordan of our time 🙏
No, the LeBron James of our time. Michael Jordan was the LeBron James of his time
What did you just say to me?
the truth my friend, deal with it
You mean like your overly large collar?
I need to deal with that shit too?
Still no 27-7-7 game either
“Can you believe he had a brief stint in professional baseball when he was 48 before returning to the wizards?”
“He was my GOAT but his tenure with the Wizards was telling. His career numbers went down and it affected his legacy in a very negative way.”
Heard this in Stephen A’s annoying ass voice
Somehow Lebron hairline returned
By then AD will be part of the broadcasting team
This is actually Cooper Flagg. The video is from two years ago.
If this was 2019 it could legitimately be credible, cooper flagg was like 10-11 when lebron first played on the lakers
What the actual fuck
A rich white kid wearing chains? He’s practically a Blue Devil already.
Lol. Of the rich white kid jokes in this thread, this is my fave.
This is the NBA’s version of the photo of Messi baptizing Lamine
Kids probably like “why is Bronny’s dad talking to me?”
I went to a fair amount of USC home games when Bronny was there as I live nearby and am a basketball junkie… I can’t overstate how popular Bronny is to kids that are this kids age and look exactly like that. One game in particular there was a whole youth team sitting behind me and Bron/his family were at the game and when the PA guy announced that to the arena, I kid you not, the team was buzzing and were asking “is that Bronny’s dad?” to their parents/coaches. Or at other games I’d hear kids asking their parents. “Is Bronny’s dad here?” It was incredibly wholesome and also made me feel much much older than I care to
This kinda blows my minds I’m just tryna figure out what kids know bronny for but wouldn’t have a clue who lebron is and in relation to him. I know he streams but surely that’s mainly to younger lebron fans? I’m confused
I’m also a bit befuddled by it all too lol
Fairly certain these youngsters know who LeBron is…at least to an extent. But they know/refer to him as “Bronny’s dad” which is just wild. In their eyes, Bronny is possibly more notable??
My sense is Bronny is pretty damn popular across all social media platforms and his little clips are probably all over these kids feeds. And I’m not gonna say Sierra Canyon games were a big deal in LA cuz it’s such a massive city and that school isn’t conveniently located at all, but there was absolutely a buzz around that team especially in the youth sports world. Their games were on local cable TV here all the time.
The Bronny hype in the youth sports scene in LA was pretty fucking insane. And you got to remember what it’s like to be a kid. They are very limited to their own experiences. So ultimately I don’t think it’s as much as not knowing who LeBron is, as much as just caring a lot more about a Bronny and being there for Bronny.
In their eyes, Bronny is possibly more notable??
lol they are just joking around. It’s funny to refer to one of the most famous basketball players as someone’s dad.
I wanna say they were probably joking because a lot of people joke by referring to Bron as Bronny’s dad, but you never know with these kids.
They know who LeBron is, pretty sure they’re just joking around
They’re joking I’m assuming
I mean being the son of LeBron James is like the ultimate popularity card as a kid, it’s like saying your uncle works at Nintendo but in this case it’s fr
omg why is lebron trying to act young ^(/s)
kids got some insane ice
I was gonna say if that’s real, then that chain might be worth more than my car 🤣
Something about this kid, his haircut and where he’s sitting makes me think it’s real. I’m sure somebody knows who’s this kids parents are
Yeah kid is sitting behind the bench wearing a diamond chain lol
Ain’t nobody sitting there that’s not filthy rich.
im sure his mom got two so he doesnt have to share with Caitlin
*Kaytlynn
He’s sitting in the little team box. Maybe like AR or DK’s little brother or something?
Those seats cost more than my car
I don’t know what kind of car you drive, but I was thinking that his chain might be worth more than my house! That’s some Johnny Dang type shit right there.
Looking like some wiseguy from the Bronx
FR
I’d be telling this story forever
Ya pretty sick moment for that kid could see his face like he talking to me?
It’s like Ana de Armas beckoning to you from the other side of the bar and you’re like “oh, she must be looking at someone famous behind me” but you turn to look and there’s nobody there.
And then you die. All of a sudden Ana de Armas owns the Waves
If he’s in those seats in the first place, I suspect he’s from an income bracket where close encounters with famous people is a regular thing.
I was thinking the same thing. That kids family has money. Money buys you access.
LeBron is clearly talking to someone else off camera, no? I thought this was a joke when I saw it on Twitter but now I can’t tell
It looks like he does look back at the kid though
Think he said something and noticed the kids reaction and then talked to him
Probably dropped an F bomb then apologized to the kid
I dont think lebrons homophobic
LeGBTQ ally
yeah i must be watching a different video then everyone else because he doesnt look at the kid, at all lol
Yes
It’s clear to me that he was talking to someone off camera and never even looked at the kid.
he never not once looks at that kid lmao
Right?
I guess they’re just all the same age as the kid and daydreaming about this happening to them
He doesn’t say anything and he doesn’t even look at the kid. Wtf is this thread??
he was so sick of the rockets all game man I loved it. 😭😭
And refs
He thought it was Luka. probably a smaller age gap
Tbh I don’t think he is even looking at the kid his eyes are looking directly to his left. I think it’s just perspective that makes it look like he’s trying to talk to the kid but if we could see the whole shot. I bet there’s a player a few seats down
Looks more like he’s looking to his left and the kid’s behind him out of his view
Ya, I dunno does he even make eye contact with the kid, still funny though lol
He totally is but this is way funnier. Imagine the kid has been giving him pointers all game.
Or somebody off frame.
I think so too. He’s not even looking at the kid
Idk what’s happening this morning but all posts are getting flooded with bots and/or the worst comments I have ever read in my entire fucking life.
Could be senility. Isn’t he like 327 years old by now.
Framing tells a whole different story but yeah that’s what it looks like. Kids reaction is more like whoa I thought he was going to talk to me for a sec lol. With his drip and cutout and jersey you’d think he’d be ready with a response if LeBron were actually talking to him
LeMentor
He’s not looking at the kid, but ok.
Man it took too long to find this comment, I guess no one is watching the video
The universal “Do you believe this shit?” gesture.
/r/youseeingthisshit worthy material
The kid holding a big ass Lebron head is sending me… 🤣
Kids got a crazy hairline already
I hate that this was the first thing i noticed lol
This kid is rich with diamonds in the seat right behind lakers bench stuntin on all us regular folk 🤣🤑
He’s not even looking at the kid
That’s just Austin Reeves sitting next to 41 year old LeBron.
Wdym? That’s just Austin Reaves.
he 100% thought that was Austin.
The kid looking to the side like ‘did you see Lebron just try to say something to me’ is so wholesome
That kid is iced out
