The conference final against the Kings 33 years ago was amazing. If it wasn’t for the Gretzky Ref Armour, we could have a had a magical Leafs/Habs final.
Always thought Montreal would be a nice city for an expansion team. I remember a few years ago it would get mentioned from time to time, but sadly it seems the hype has completely died down.
NBA teams are insanely expensive. I don’t see it succeeding here in MTL. Expos would have a way better shot with the season not overlapping as much with the NHL

Na leafs atmosphere is dogshit. Went to a few playoff games. That place is disgusting but leafs have never really energized the crowd and hockey fans seem more reserved than bball and baseball fans here. Raps and jays get wild though. Jays last year was crazy
