The teams who are winning in the playoffs right now are ones that have very few weak defenders, not the ones who have the most offensive firepower anymore. The ones winning conferences and championships are the ones who have both, but to even get there begins with the defense.
I think if I’m Denver, I can build around one weak defender in Jokic, but I can’t build around two. I know Murray is royalty in Denver but I feel like you have to try to move him while he has his highest value.

There is a large part of our fan base that is just delusional. Some of us have seen the cracks forming but were cautiously optimistic that maybe we had figured things out and got just healthy enough heading into the playoffs. I sports hate the Wolves, but really I have a huge amount of respect for that team, how good they are, and how much tougher they are than the Nugs. Mostly I’m just sad man. I’ve missed watching probably fewer than a dozen games over Jokić’s entire career, and this really feels like the end of an era.
