You had media members throwing hissy fits because he wasn’t a runaway 3 peat MVP after already being one of the only guys who would ever even be considered for mvp on a 6 seed. Steve Nash was running a modern offense with shooters at all position in a no spacing era. Sure he lead stronger offense, but that doesn’t mean shit because his team WAS RUNNING modern offenses by sacrificing defense.

This doesn’t mean Nash belongs anywhere near Jokic as a player.

For instance, in 2010, that suns team played the lakers led by Kobe, who is also named here, and lost despite Kobe playing with zero spacing to a point suns were running a mini zone.
