Being an Illini + Timberwolf fan I was ecstatic the day we drafted TSJ, now this. It’s beautiful. Both had legacy games in two clutch games in the same series.

The Wolves also have figured something out with player development. Fans dog Chris Finch for not playing young guys more minutes, but clearly Chris Finch has these young guys ready to play even if us fans aren’t seeing it every night.
TSJ and Jaylen Clark both had big minutes tonight and didn’t look hopeless or lost.
It’s easy to look elite when Murray is guarding you and Jokic is at the rim.

It’s just crazy that with two minutes left, the Wolves had a possession in a three or five (can’t remember) point game where it was him just dribbling the ball at half court until 8 seconds and then going and scoring. He might not have played in the series at all if the Wolves were healthy and they just told him to close the game like he was a superstar and he did.
