Sealing the game at the line and having some truly absurd passes given Gobert’s stone hands reputation, Rudy was close to having a triple double - which would have been a first for him in either the regular or postseason (The closest he got was on March 22nd, 2021 against the Chicago Bulls which is coincidentally the game where he racked up his career high in blocks; he finished with 21/10/2 w/9 blocks).
McDaniels deserves credit for showing up as well tonight but I wanted to highlight the ridiculous night that Rudy had because this ties his career high in assists. Amusingly, this high was also against the Bulls.
