The best player on the court tonight.

Best Lakers player for two games in a row
that just might be the problem
EDIT:
not trying to knock ayton here, fwiw. just think they need some juice from bron and (now) reaves.
No you’re 100% correct, don’t worry about how people will react. That’s the issue
some crunk juice
I thought Lebron was okay tbh. Limited the turnovers this game, had some good assists, and shot okay (kinda messed up his % with the last 2 threes). You just can’t really expect him to go for 30 anymore
definitely not trying to knock bron, but as long as he is one of the two best players on the floor for his team, it’ll end up coming back on him in some capacity, since he’ll be getting shots at the end of the game
he was much better this game than game 4, though, for sure.
He just conserved too much to the end
Yup, seems like if Ayton is the only one doing well in this series, Lakers are in trouble.
They were clearly trying to feed him since last game. The Rockets got that memo and those passes to him were just free turnovers. And if Kennard is only going to shoot 4 shots, he shouldn’t even be on the floor.

Yeah, I agree. If you’re not playing into his strength, he’s a nonfactor.
I also don’t know who else they can turn to. Vando just continues to not be effective offensively and LaRavia hasn’t given them much more than a few fouls. Even Hayes’ only got 10 minutes tonight (granted I’m sure part of that was Ayton was playing with force).
Excellent defense, rebounding, and hitting some good shots. If you told me he was the #1 pick I would believe you.
Domin-Ayton
masturbAYTON
Would’ve won the game if the rest of the lakers were procastinAYTON
Capela: well done, my disciple.
he’s the only one who showed tonight.
He was the only life the Lakers have in this game 🥀
Absolutely cooking Alpi on the boards.
Alpy has been playing ok, trying to make the right plays for the last couple of games, getting his guys a lot of good looks
But he does need to be a little more aggressive I think. Maybe he was instructed against it idk
Reaves missed all those shots on purpose for Ayton to have his legacy game.
he played BIG in the 2nd half of this game. key screens and OREB and putbacks
2 huge blocks too
Posted cuz we all love to clown him on his off days, he was the best player tonight, solely kept lakers in contention.
Great effort from Ayton; he played with a lot of heart tonight.
Rest of the Lakers played like they’re all older than LeBron. Sloppy passes, careless turnovers, apprehensive shooting, botched layups, and a complete lack of urgency.
I can complain about everyone but him tonight
Can’t win with these cats. Getting mad offensive rebounds just for them to brick everything
this is what happens when he plays big.
All but 1 of his shots were in the paint, as well. He tries to hit those jumpers and sometimes gets hot with them but he’s 7 feet tall, get in there
I genuinely believe had Ayton been like 6’6” ; he’d be on the of the best SG/SF in the league
He has amazing touch for someone that big
Just a reminder the Lakers got him for free, I wonder why
TEN offensive rebounds!?
Steven Adams is rolling over in his grave
His defense was crazy good tonight.
Deandre can’t win with these cats!
We need to get former #1 pick on the Lakers some help! And I don’t mean Lebron.
max contract extension for this man, forget reaves
He’s actually played he’s role well and done a decent job on Sengun. JJ needs to stop with the double teams
Does nobody reread the title before hitting post?
I think all we can be sure of from this series is that who ever moves on is going to get dicked down by OKC.
Reminded me of peak Clint Capela when he was outhustling KAT and Rudy in the playoffs.
At the very end of the game, he got two offensive boards and kicked them out for 3, then got another one and just dunked it himself. Gotta give him his flowers.
man, i really wish laker out of this season asap.
every damn laker game, this sub reddit flooring with all lakers related topic.
non of other team has this level exposure, and their fanbase is also indeed most toxic fanbase.
what country are you from, Fr*nce?
I am from Oklahoma
