Spurs are 32-3 in their last 35 games Wemby has played in
32-2 if you don’t count the game against Portland he left early with the concussion. Felt like this was pretty significant and going under the radar. Since Feb 1st the Spurs are 34-5!
I’m not sure who’s team he’d be on in the inevitable space jam
Space jam dvd
He’d be the alien version of the Iron Giant. Sent to destroy us but fell in love with basketball, so decided to join the humans of earth to fight against the aliens that originally sent him.
Space Jam 3 Lebron becomes corrupted by some force on earth and retires to commit some obscure evil, wemby and the other aliens (make it cute like monsters idk you brand it) help save the planet for the good of the cosmos through a game of basketball against earths corrupted stars
Given how much people didn’t like space jam 2 I think LeBron making 3 would be the obscure evil
Couldn’t be worse than the last one
He refuses to retire, that’s the obscure evil
whose*
I mean… that could be a funny twist since he’s an Alien 👽
r/whoosh
Since Feb 1st, they went up against 50+ win teams 9 times.
They beat the Thunder (x1), Lakers (x1), Pistons (x1), Rockets (x1) and Celtics (x1)
They lost to the Knicks (x1) and Nuggets (x3).
Yeah they didnt have an easy schedule at all either. Except the thunder they basically had their bench out there that last game.
Thunder didn’t have their top 10 rotation players.
Lakers didn’t have LeBron, Luka, Reaves, Smart, Ayton.
Celtics game, Brown got ejected early.
Pistons and Rockets had all their guys.
for 2⁄3 Nuggets losses, the Spurs didn’t have Wemby
why are we dissecting things like this
He’s an SGA stan.
Many thought this would be a play-in team tops. I predicted 6th seed. 2nd best in the NBA and out of the first round is an objective success based on expectations.
But now I think this team has a realistic avenue to go the distance.
I predict the spurs will beat Denver it 6 games. Then lose to the thunder in 6 games.
Denver would be the eighth team in NBA history to come back from 3-1. They have a great chance with the injuries, but still…
I need McDaniels to summon all his hate for the Nuggets.
I feel like people forget jokic and Murray were down 3-1 against the jazz and clippers in the playoffs. They have the history, are both better now, and the wolves are dropping like flies. Obviously still an uphill battle but if they stop being idiots and play like they did game 5 they can win out.
Wolves might run out of gas on offense if they cant replicate attacking Jokic all night
Wolves in 6. Mcdaniels got this
Denver did it twice in 2020!
Like you said, it’s the injuries that shape the projection.
I mean it’s 3-2 now. Plenty of teams have done rhat
They’re down 3-2 rn, so the fact that they were down 3-1 isn’t really relevant anymore.
> Then lose to the thunder in 6 games.
Win in 6*
And then sweep finals
Its nice to see Wemby live up to the immense hype and by all accounts operate with maturity on and off the court well beyond his years. Wouldn’t be surprised at all if they punch it home this year.
Does this include the injury game ?
Yeah
Even more insane lol
The Thunders v Spurs matchup is going to be the most exciting playoff matchup in a long, long time.
Castle and Harper shooting lights out since the All Star Break helped a lot too.
Best team in the league.
Is that good?
What about in their last 36 with the Wembster?
